Preamble

So, this guide is mostly just for my own future reference, but if you don’t know, there’s this part of the Far Harbour DLC where you have to unlock DiMA’s memories by diving into this weird tower defence mode where you have to guide some insanely slow bugs, who just happen to worst pathing in video game history, into a pillar thing that I don’t even know how to begin to describe. Then they have to get all the way back, all of this while being shot at by drones mind you, to unlock a fraction of the memory you’re on.

Now this was almost cool the first time you did it, but if you’re like me and like to make many many new characters you have redo this whole thing again and again and again ad nauseam, to the point where it almost ruins the rest of the DLC. Luckily, in most Bethesda games you can skip any quest stages if you know the technical info for them (or, in my case, can check a wiki.)

The Solution

First of all, there is apparently a mod – [nexusmods.com]  which just automatically does all of this for you, but if you’re lazy like me and don’t feel like installing a mod, all you need to do is open the console when you’ve gotten to the terminal and input these commands

  1. setstage dlc03mq04 150
  2. setstage dlc03mq04 250
  3. setstage dlc03mq04 350
  4. setstage dlc03mq04 450
  5. setstage dlc03mq04 550

After this you have all 5 memories as holotapes in your inventory that you can listen to to advance each stage, but if you want to skip even the listening part you can also setstage dlc03mq04 160, 260, 360, 460, and 560, but imo that’s taking it a little far/kinda pointless.

Hope this can help anyone who might still be playing this game.
