Locate general.ini

The location of the file you want to edit is found here:
 
 
programfiles/Steam/steamapps/common/The Witcher 3/bin/config/base
 
 
 

Insert Console enabler

After this file has been found, open it with a text editor (notepad) and insert the following line:
 
 
DBGConsoleOn=true
 
 
 

Using in Game

Once you have completed the previous steps, when in game you must press ( ` ) key to open the debug console.
 
 
An example of a command you can enter is as follows:
 
 
additem(‘ ’)
