To escape the heat, you can stay in the fissure two times
 
– Go back into the desert
 
 
Derek should appear.

– This answer doesn’t change anything
 
– Refuse
 
– Beg
 
 
– Take a walk up the hill
 
It will be nighttime soon, and your health should now be at 52.
 
 
Stay four times
 
– Actions -> Google
 
– Go inside
 
– Wait
 
Grab Komodo
 
– Punch him in the back
 
 
It should now dawn at 3:00am. Your health should be at 32.
 
Do not speak to Tom (I know it's tempting; he's a real sweetie).
 
 
– Get out of the cave
 
– Go to the open desert
 
Stay four times
 
Derek will appear just like your health at 2.
 
 
– Beg
 
– Use your knife
 
– Kill him
 
 
Your health should be at zero now and this should not be your last act.
 
– Take a walk up to the top of the hill
 
 
– Offer the knife
