Team Fortress 2 Can’t see sprays in game? Here’s a fix

Basic Commands

 
There are 3 basic commands you should enter before doing anything else. These 3 commands usually fix the problem so test these 3 before doing any other commands. 
 
cl_playerspraydisable 0 
cl_allowdownload 1 
cl_allowupload 1 
 
If any of these don’t work refer to the next few commands to help. 
 
 

Alternate Commands

 
Some alternate commands to enter for safe measure or if the first three didn’t help much. 
 
r_decal_cover_count 4 
r_decal_cullsize 1 
r_decal_overlap_area 0.4 
r_decal_overlap_count 3 
r_decals 200 
r_decalstaticprops 1 
r_spray_lifetime 2 
mp_decals 200 
 
These commands should solve any other problem you might be having with sprays. 
 
 

Still can’t see sprays?

 
Unfortunately, I have no solution other than these commands. 
 
If you still can’t see sprays disable any mods that might make your sprays turn off (such as a config or something along those lines). If you don’t have any mods installed I have no clue what might be the problem. If you are really desperate try contacting steam support (they probably know WAY more than I do on this subject). 
 
I will add more commands to the Alternate Commands section if I find anymore that may help.
