Which should I choose?

Stardard Farm is a good choice for beginners. You can still choose to go to the same farm, but for something completely different, you should.

Combat is the most frustrating skill, but it's also a great way to level up.

The Hill-top Farm doesn't have much space for construction. Forest Farm has hardwood which can be tedious to get and takes a lot of time. (To collect hardwood, you will need a steel blade)
