Bonus Tips
Here are a short list of tips that may help you on your quest!
Cooking Helpful Recipes
– Spicy Eel provides +1 Luck and +1 Speed. This allows the player to move faster and also have a higher chance of finding valuable items and rare monster drops. Can be made with an eel and a hot pepper.
– Roots Platterprovides +3 Attack, very useful for monster-slaying. Can be made using a cave carrot and a winter root.
– Mango Stick Rice provides +3 Defense, which is particularly useful in lower levels of the Skull Cavern. Can be made with a mango, coconut and rice.
Weapons
Of course, figure out what weapon suits you, as different players may find different weapons most effective.
Rings
Take a look at the Adventurer’s Guild Shop, as there are rings which increase the player’s weapon’s knockback, critical hit chance or speed. Some rings, such as the Napalm Ring (obtained by killing 250 Serpents) will also provide player’s with a better chance of killing other monsters. Another good choice would be the Thorns Ring which causes enemies to take damage when the player does. This can be crafted with 50 bone fragments, 50 stone and 1 gold bar.
Monster Musk
Once the player has completed the Wizard’s special order “Prismatic Jelly”, ‘Monster Musk’ can be crafted to attract more monsters for a period of 10 minutes. Monster Musk can be crafted using 30 slime and 30 bat wings.
KEY TIP: The best way to find a Prismatic Slime is to head to level 5 of the mines, and exit before heading down the elevator to level 5 again. This is the best floor to find the slime as this floor can spawn up to approximately 8 slimes.
Remember to also time your weapon strikes correctly!
Good Luck!
