This is a music fix for the Quake 64 Addon included in the Quake Remaster.
 
The music in the Quake 64 addon did not sound right and some tracks sounded like they were recorded from the game as a boss died. I went and replaced all the music tracks with their raw music file for the highest possible quality sound from the Quake 64 soundtrack.
 
 
The songs are also much louder, but quake 64’s music is much more ambient so it might sound quiet to some but it’s still much louder than what was there.
 
 

Downloading and Installing the Music pack.

To Install the music pack, just download from this link below and put it in the file location listed below.

C:\Users\YourUsernameHere\Saved Games\Nightdive Studios\Quake\q64
 
 
Once you do it’ll ask you to replace the pak file that’s already in the q64 folder, say yes.
 
 
Then Launch Quake 64 with louder and correct sounding music.
