Insurgency: Sandstorm How to Install a CFG

Overview

 
I come from the good ole’ CoD:4 promod days, having a custom cfg was a must have and apart of the community! 
After tweaking and fiddling with all, i mean ALL the commands in Insurgency Sandstorm. 
 
These were the commands i was able to tweak, i dont not consider this EXPLOITING the game! 
I hope this can help and bring the community together, you can try and tweak these commands to your liking but trust me these are the best. 
 
With this Config youll have to turn your gamma in the Game Main Video Settings to 5.0 
Custom Cfg will auto correct the Gamma correction, atleast this is how it is my screen and brightness. 
 
Also when first trying to install this cfg i had no idea where to install in the directories 
This took my quite a while dragging and dropping in different folders and then trying to execute the config file. 
In the console if you solely type “exec” it will give you a simple directory but not the whole path 😛 
I went of that basis and just rinsed and repeated till i got the config file executed through the console from the right directory :)!!!

Directory/Install

 
After youve downloaded the fps.cfg file. 
You wanna install it to this Directory, some drive names may vary or depending where you installed your Steam folder – 
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sandstorm\Insurgency\Binaries 
 
 

How to Activate In-Game

 
Once your in-game in the main screen, youll want to hit you “`~” button to open the console. 
When opened, just type exec fps.cfg and its as simple as that!
