A very helpful/useful guide for BattleBit Remastered – Guide to Controller and Support

Hello, if you’d like to support controllers on BATTLEBIT REMASTERED, but you aren’t able due to the lack of native controller support I have a solution for you.

Thanks to some wonderful people I’ve included a video tutorial on how to include controller support to the BATTLEBIT.

RECOMMENDED SETTINGS

In your Keybindings and in-game settings…add the following Keybinds:

You can place these keybinds in the second keybinding slot in order to keep from overwriting your Keyboard/Mouse keybindings.

KEYBINDINGS

FOR FIRE MODE: / (slash keyboard)

ZEROING INCREASE: arrow key up

Zeroing Decrease: Arrow Key down

NEXT WEAPON SIGHT: semicolon

FLIR SWITCHING: Backslash

The Throw Gadget : A comma

CUT ROPE: Backslash

Backslash

VOIP (Squad Leaders): O (as in Oscar)

SQUAD LEADER MENU: Backspace

SWITCH NEXT SEAT NEXT: right bracket

SWITCH PREVIOUS SEAT left bracket

VEHICLE ZERRET ZERO IN: mouse scroll wheel upward

VEHICLE TURRET OUTZOOM: mouse scroll wheel downwards

“LOADOUT” is the keybinding that allows the MOUSE to scroll up and down. “LOADOUT”

Also, check to make sure that none of your keybindings are in conflict with the Config.

SENSITIVITIES (This is what is working for me, but you can alter it from here according to your own preferences.)

MOUSE: Vertical and Horizontal = 500

AIM DOWN SIGHTS: Both Vertical & Horizontal = approx. 275

1X = 100

2X = 95

3X = 90

4X = 90

6X = 90

8X = 90

12X = 100

15X = 100

20X = 100

40X = 100

Adjust these settings as you like however, I would recommend starting with these approximate settings and going from there. Make use of the Shooting Range and test various weapons with different optics. You can also adjust the sensitivity settings until you’re comfortable with them.

OPTIONAL

You can upload this config file into your ReWASD and set it up to automatically detect when BattleBit.exe runs so that the controller configuration will be applied automatically.

In the bottom-left corner of the Config layout page, there should be a button that says “Apply to Slot 1”.

A small button with an icon of the shape of a circle is to the right. Click that.

In the pop-up menu, select “Add *.exe file”

Find your BattleBit directory within the Steam folder.

SteamApps >>> common >>> BattleBit RemasteredBattleBit Remastered

Select the BattleBit.exe application and click “OK” or “Open”

Then click save.

ReWASD will recognize when you play BattleBit, and apply the configuration automatically.
