The first chapter to this guide provides a basic detailing of AOEIV resources: including the name of each type, the quantity and kind of resources in each type, and, how quickly those resources can be gathered.

	Wild/Dead Tree       150 wood	10 wood requires 13 seconds
	Gold Vein       8000 gold	10 gold requires 13 seconds
	Stone Outcropping       1500 or 3000 stone	10 stone requires 13 seconds
	Boar       2000 food	10 food, requires 11 seconds
	Sheep       250 food	10 food, requires 13 seconds       (2 to 6 seconds of walking per trip)
	Deer       350 food	10 food, requires 13 seconds
	Berry Bush       250 food	10 food, requires 15 seconds       (3 to 8 seconds of walking per trip)
	Farm       120 food	10 food, requires 14 seconds
	Shoreline Fish       1000 food	10 food, requires 10 seconds

** the ‘gather rates’ listed above, include the time to accumulate the resource, but do not include the time, for the villager to walk and deposit the resource and return to their task.
 
 
The animals, do not decay or rot: because, their resource quantity does not depreciate on its own, carca*ss block building placements, if not removed.
 
 
*the following table includes the fishing ship ‘gather rates’
