In this guide I will show you how to beat all the portal gold challenges with less then 5 portals
 
by using a single trick that is the reasons for a 12 minute portal speedrun
 
 

The important item you need

open the console by going to the advanced part of keyboard and checking the allow console box, this will allow you to use a single command that doesn’t require cheats on
 
 
the revolver
 
i’m kidding its THE AIRBOAT
 
 

 
you might ask why
 

• it does not require sv_cheats 1
• somebody did a speedrun just with air-boats
• when you drive an air-boat it wont count as steps
• you can climb air-boats
• air-boats also clip through doors
• if you bind your mouse wheel you can spam air-boats
• you can put airboats in turrets, disabling their shooting but keeping them alive

 
 
 

How to bind it/ what the command is

OK if you have made it this far than open the console and put in
 
 

Bind “mwheelup” “ch_createairboat”

 
 
if that does work or you want something different you can put
 
Bind “mwheeldown” “ch_createjalopy”
 
 
and volia
 
 

 

 
remember, this is the most powerful exploit that includes boats
 
im not kidding I completed an entire level only by boat with 0 portals, now go on and go fourth
