Do you think it would be easier to aim a bow quickly and accurately if you used both your hands instead of one? It's a crazy idea, I know.
This guide will explain how to enable gyroscopic control in Shadow of Mordor for PS5, PS4, Switch Pro and Steam Controllers.
You can find the settings and enable them in Steam's options. Instructions are provided immediately below the section on setting description. These direct links are also included in this guide. Copying them into a web browser opens Steam's settings for the game. You can view them and then choose to apply them to your controller layout.

Instructions for Use
You will need Steam to purchase the game. This is how to use these settings in the Steam launcher.
- Library () Steam pane)
- Shadow of War (right clicking game entry in)
- Manage – Controller Layout (dropmenus)
- Click the Browse Configs button at the bottom of screen)
- Community (side tab,)
- Find the setting that you like from the list and use it
Each link opens in Steam client. You can then accept or reject the configuration by clicking on one of the links. These profiles are only Steam-based and require no additional software to be run. Steam should be running and the controller you desire switched on before you click the link.
Before clicking the link for a setting, please save any custom layouts you have created in Steam's Controller Layout Configurator. Steam will immediately delete any saved custom controller layouts and replace them with this one if accepted. Otherwise, it will load a default configuration if the new one has been rejected.
Quirks
These settings can have negative effects.
Motion Controls on the Left Trigger & Bumper L1/L doesn't respond to long pressings because it was partly reserved for motion controls. To toggle Wraith World in the gameplay or to activate its menu functions, press briefly.
