Garry’s Mod How to Make an NPC use any weapon you want

Step 1

 
Firstly, go to your toolbox and select ‘NPC’ on the top left, it will open up a list of things that let you edit the npc’s behaviour, select the bottom option ‘weapon override’, it will come up with a list of HL2 weapons that you can swap out for the npc’s default weapon, even if they are normally unarmed 
 
 
 
another way to do this is to going to the bottom left of the npc spawn menu and use the weapon override option there

im not sure if this the feature works with addon npcs because i haven’t experimented a lot with it 
 
also some npcs like combine, might T pose when using a different weapon, but they can still use them
