The game doesn't load or crashes upon startup.

 
A1: Use Nahimic and FMOD to boost audio, Strix, Aegis 3 or Sonic Studio 2.

A1b: FMOD is a method of obtaining information. Follow these steps:
 
Go to Control Panel > Hardware > Sound
 
It could indicate that your default audio card is disabled. If it does, restart your sound card to fix the problem.
 
 
A1c: Citrix installation is required. Open Control Panel, then the Device Manager applet. Click the arrow next To "System Devices" and then right click to disable "Citrix Virtual Bus Enumerator".
 
 
A2: For MacOS players:
 
Go into /Users/[YOUR USERNAME]/Library/Application

Locate and delete "settings.ini". Next, reload the game. The settings will be reset to default.

Unable to see images/blackscreen throughout the game/animated sequences freezing

 
 
A1: Could be due to a variety factors, but not only:
 
 

• Outdated video card driver
• If your GPU/video cards are NVIDIA and you experience freezing,
   
   
  Animations: Disable VSync in the Nvidia Control Panel.

 
 
A2: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable runtime programs may be missing
