This Guide shows you how to find different Bases for at each Star Base Level.

How to build a solid foundation

Before you start a new Base, here are some key points.
 
Some buildings are more valuable that others.
 
There are three main things to be aware of:
 

1. Are things possible to be taken/destroyed?
2. Can the Building defend itself against an attack?
3. Is the overall benefit of the building location for the entire Base?

 
 
These questions will be answered if we rank all Buildings according to these attributes and sort them from core to normal buildings.
 
 
First: Mines/Houses/Banks/Silos/Star Base
 
All of these buildings contain valuable loot that could be stolen.
 
Only the maximum amount currently collected in Coins/Minerals can be stolen from Houses/Mines.
 
It can be stolen from Banks/Silos depending on where it is stored.
 
Only exception in Warp Gates/Bunkers
 
When the Warp Gate/Bunker collapses, troops currently in a Warp Gate/Bunker are lost.
 
 
Second: Towers/Bunkers defensive
 
These Buildings will help protect you from an attack.
 
There are 6 Types Of Towers and 2 Types Of Bunkers.
 
 

 
Third: – How to Place a Building
 
It is not recommended to group different types of buildings together.
 
All Bases require some form of strategic placement.
 
An incorrectly placed building can lead to loss more often than not.
 
 
What about the Walls, though?
 
It is the same as every castle.
 
Galaxy Life is a little bit different in this case.
 
Your defensive towers are often protected by walls.
 
Houses and Mines stand in front row. The reason is that mines and houses tank a lot of damage because of their high health.
 
This can be a great way to save time during battle.
 
Tip: As you log off, you will be able to collect all Houses & Mines. They won't give you too many resources.
 
 
 

FAQ

 
Warum are some buildings on the pictures level 1 except Defensive Towers
 
It's only visuals. If you level buildings, they will get larger and may block your view behind.
 
It is also not a good idea to upgrade Mines/Houses/etc. A base building showcase.
 
 
Why are there some photos of Colony’s and not Main Base
 

 
There are no differences between the Colony and Main bases. However, there are 3 buildings available only to your Main base.
 
These include currently: Refinery, Observatory, Alliance Building
 
Because you only have one Main Base, most of the bases you will have will be Colony's.
 
 
Why not build walls to protect Bunkers?
 
All units move in this match, so why not defend moving targets with stationery walls?
 
The enemy will often be within range of Bunker at the edge it detects, so the battle will occur far away.
 
You take control of an abandoned/inutile building after the troops have gone.
 
 
My Base does not have Warp Gates. They are used for saving and farming coins/minerals.
 
I tried to have some Bases for these strategies in the Pictures.
 
As you can see, Bunkers still exist in these Bases.
 
It is easy to repurpose and build the Warp Gate and Factory of your choice.
 
 
Ez, why don't you nuke it?
 
It depends on where the Star Base is located.
 
Nuking Bases beyond Star Base level 7 is not worth the effort.
 
For the higher level bases, you will see Bunker placements changing.
 
Tip: Place them 12 space vertically and/or 20 space diagonally from each other, so that one can be nuked simultaneously.
 
 
Why no-walled Cannon Towers before level 7?
 
Their low range and ground-only targeting makes it a waste to wall them when you have limited walls.
 
You cannot place them behind a building or mine because the range won't reach as far as a bazooka attack weapon range.
 
This will change on Star Base 7, and later.
 
 
Why are some bases decorated differently than others?
 
First of all, it is better to have a map for visuals.
 
Units can be placed in decorations or Plants/Obstacles.
 
Place them in a 2×2 space within the base.
 
 

 
 
Why is it that some pictures are in a different resolution?
 
Steam is limiting me to a maximum. Each image can be uploaded to the internet at 2MB per file
 
I need to reduce their size. This is why I use a filter.
