This guide is a work-in progress that shares information about Xenoverse 2 mechanics. Some of these are known while others are not. Some of these effects are only visible by examining the game files with modder tools, such as super soul effects.

This list will be updated over time. You are welcome to leave any comments or suggestions in the comment section below. I will be sure and credit you for adding it to the list.

Super Attacks/Reinforcement Skills

Evil Explosive wave- Teleports with Super Saiyan once it is set to level 3 (, similar to Kamehameha's Galick Gun or)

Lovely Cyclone – When used, it will reset any reinforcement duration and can be stacked to add other reinforcement effects.

Do or Die- This reinforcement skill can be deployed quickly and has super armor. This makes it extremely effective for repelling opponents that snap vanish behind and also powering up. A super dash can also be used to break your stamina, much like an ultimate.

Fighting Pose K: It states "you do NOT lean" if you are attacked while using this ability, but it actually means that you don't flinch. It grants you super armor during the duration of the skill. I believe (takes about 10 seconds.

Ultimate Attacks

Full Power Energy Volley – Ki Blasts will track if they are used at the final part of a combo. This ult. A random scatter will be generated if you don't combine.

Destructive Fission – Will cancel any beam attack in its path (, and continue).

Transformations

Potential Unleashed: Although you claim that you can recover more ki faster, the truth is that your ki recovery is only boosted to 6.67%.

Future Super Saiyan- Although the description claims that you recover ki quicker than any other form of food, it is true for stamina. The 15% increase in stamina is beneficial, but the 15% increase in ki recovery is not as dramatic as the standard super Saiyan (-33%).

Dyspo's supersonic form- makes some his skills teleport more effectively and connect more effectively

Super Souls

S, M., L, XL and XXL boosts – are (typically) boosts of 5% or 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, respectively?

Any supersoul that says "a bit after the battle begins" – this is typically around 30 seconds, regardless if it is a Parallel quest scenario or PvP.

Any superhuman who has health, energy, or auto recuperation- this is totally variable and not consistent. Some effects are faster than others.

"I have been saving this one!" Kaioken! "!" – Will make level 1 kaioken have a slight stamina recuperation instead of draining (during combos or skills).

"I've put everything aside for this!" – XXL boosters normally indicate 25%, but here the attack boosts average 40%.

"This is what I truly have power!" – claims to give XL strength to stamina recovery, but is it true for ki healing?

"Don't go all in!" – The ki blast type can be used on Gotenks mentor variants. It is a rapid shot, not a single powerblast. This is significant because it is more effective at draining stamina than the CaC version. It's best used against super-armored opponents as they absorb all the stamina loss directly and can be stamina damaged quickly.

Ribrienne's super soul (I forgot the name at this point) is the only supersoul in the game that changes basic ki blasts to heart.
