Solving the problem with the missing scavenger bot.

Introduction

Hello Dead Space 3 players, in this guide I will describe a detailed solution to an unpleasant problem with a missing scavenger bot.

I think many players have encountered the problem of a missing bot when re-passing the game, especially unpleasant for players with DLC acceleration of resource extraction by bot.

Because of this bug, interest in the game completely disappears, well as the desire to go through it further (when playing with a friend in co-op mode).

Solving the problem

However, there is a solution to this seemingly unsolvable problem.

So, why does the scavenger bot disappear when you replay the game?

The whole problem lies in the Prologue.

A SCAF soldier Tim Caufman (instead of Isaac Clarke) picks up bots when rebooting in the Prologue.

And as you know, Tim dies at the end of the Prologue and takes 1 bot with him.

To avoid loss, you need:

1 – Release ALL bots before playing the Prologue;

2 – If you forgot to release them, then CHECK Tim’s INVENTORY. If there are NO BOTS, there is nothing to worry about. If THERE ARE BOTS, then you need TO RELEASE THEM ALL IMMEDIATELY.

3 – Just DON’T LOAD the checkpoint in the Prologue. (Since loading the checkpoint ADDS BOTS to Tim’s inventory)

Result

Unfortunately, I do not know how to return an already lost bot.

Perhaps some manipulation of the Cheat Engine is required there, but this is just my guess
