Did you spend hours playing the side content, only to later find out that the combat sucks? This guide is for you.
Step 1:
Download the Yakuza 3 Difficulty Editor from here. – [github.com]
Step 2:
Open the exe.
Step 3:
The program should open (if it doesnt, you need to get .NET 6.0 from here – [microsoft.com] ).
Click on file, then open to open up the file picker to select your save file.
Step 4:
The file picker should automatically open up to the location where your Yakuza 3 save files are stored for Steam. The number in each save file name corresponds to the save slot in-game.
(savegame1.sav = Slot 1, etc)
Select the save you want to change the difficulty on, then press Open.
Step 5:
The program should read your save file and show you its current difficulty. Now you can change it to Easy (or change it to a harder one if your a mas*chi*t or like dropping babies from a 20 story skyscraper). Select the difficulty you want from the drop-down, then press save.
Step 6:
Enjoy your updated save file!
