This guide will help you to level as quickly as possible while making the most money and spending as little as possible. This guide is not meant to be used as a map-exploration tool or to help you catch all the different fish on this map. It's merely for leveling up. (Although I encourage you explore the maps, they are all very beautiful.)

I won't tell where you should put your skill points.

Until we unlock Kiel and start making big bucks, we'll primarily be going for XP instead of cash.

Level 1

Open your inventory, take everything from both rod configurations and create this setup using the starter gear.

ROD: UFE Feeder Master 270 (3.5kg)

REEL: UFE Barracuda 2001GN(4.5kg)

LINE: UFE Mono CLEAR 0.16 1.3kg

LURE: Robson Classic twist 8cm

After you have loaded into Jackson, turn around so you face the lake and fish off the pier. We'll be using the soft lure twist for now.

You can release tiny fish below $1 to get extra XP.

Level 2

Open your fishing net and hit'sell all!

After you have mastered ding level 2, HAPDQ(a haul, and pretty damn quick) to your local shop to purchase the Sakura Aya 0.18 Sakura Aya 2.20kg strength line. This line is the strongest you can buy at this stage, and it will make your fish fights easier.

Keep fishing with your new line.

Levels 2 – 4 are just for fun. We'll try our best to catch whatever we can at the lake location. If you're lucky enough, you might catch some larger fish for XP.

Level 3

Baybees, you can sell your delicious fishies!

You can exit the location and purchase a Zalasie licence. Then, you can go into the new map.

Open the shop and purchase the level 3 UFS Mono 0.14 3.2kg strength line, a UFA bait hook $14, as well as some delicious dough balls in the bait section. You should not eat them on the way to the lake.

You can reset your set by clicking the button in your inventory.

To get to the desired location, open the map and use teleporter magic to get there. We won't need to move. Equip your rod and adjust the leader length to 2.5m. Do a short cast. We're going fishing in the shallows between 7-15 meters and the leader will dangle the delicious dough just above the vegetation.

You will catch many types of carp here: barbel, asps and roach, tench, and many more. The dough should ensure that no pike bites, as they are big and heavy and we are not yet ready for that fight!

If your fish are slipping off of the hook a lot, make certain you strike with a high enough drag so that line tension is maintained. But don't worry, this will be addressed when we reach level 4!

Level 4

If you're lucky enough, you'll land a few chonkers that will boost your XP nicely. You'll soon be Level 4.

You can assign your skill points and then sell your fishies.

Go to the Hooks section and click on the Carp subsection. You can then buy a 10 x Carptack Claw XL Hook. We could probably handle larger fish, but we will catch more on a smaller hooked hook.

The UFS Mono 0.18 Line with 4kg Strength is available in the Lines category.

Under Lures > Soft Lures you can purchase the UFA Twister 8cm in red and blue.

Go back to Jackson National Park. All your new gear, including the twister lure and a flashlight, is ready for you to go. Step out onto the pier, and cast as far as you can. You'll catch mostly salmon or trout, and the trout are better XP and salmon better $. You should reach Level 5 fairly quickly.

Level 5

Sell the fishies and sell the fishies

Shop for:

UFE Hyper Braid 0.20(the black one with 4,8kg strength)

Carptack ClawXL 7 hook – (below hooks > carp)

Dough balls, dough balls, and dough balls

Go back to that spot at 2.30 in Zalasie, and get your new gear. We're using a line much tougher than our rod right now and a heavier hook that will attract bigger fish. You will have to fight longer, but your gear is safer.

The big hook will not get us as many bites, but the fish that do bite will be bigger and worth more XP/$.

Level 6

You can assign your skill points if you'd like to. Otherwise, we're just continuing to catch the phat carps in Zalasie up until level 7.

To spice things up, you can put a worm in the hook and fish to the T-shaped jetty, located between locations 4-5. Then, fish towards the long, 4 – jetty, angling slightly inland. You may still catch big carp, but you might also land pike.

Level 7

Sell teh fishiezzz!

Get the Slovakia license and a Robinson Sonic S28 13g lure from Spinners Section. Then equip it. Take a walk along the riverbank, increase your speed to 24, then fish to the right.

Welcome to the rainbow area! 😛

The rainbow trout have a great XP and the salmon, huchen, and other trout can be good for money. You can fish until trout start coming out of your ears. You should be catching a fish on every cast. Cross to Location 4 and fish to your left.

If you reel in fish to within 8 m of your position but don't get a bite, stop reeling. Sometimes fish will bug out and catch at your previous lure and take a few seconds to recover. To avoid this, you can try a start-and stop retrieve (. It's also known as stop-and go but it doesn’t flag. In-game): You reel for a few seconds and then let the lure drop. Then, you reel again. The river is full of hungry fish so the fish will still be interested.

Levels 8 – 9.

LEVEL 8

Booya!

Spend your skill point, or just sit in the river and decimate the local trout population. You are coming back here to cause the trout extinction event.

LEVEL 9

When you're 9 and have $1500, visit the Spinning rods section to buy the Sakura Speciz PESL Light 762 Zander at 6.35 strength. Note that we prefer the less expensive model with a lighter casting weight (.

Equip your new Troutcatcher Extraordinaire. To recap, you should now be following the following steps:

ROD: Sakura Speciz SPES Light 762 Zander

REEL: UFE Barracuda 2002GN

LINE: UFE Hybrid 0.20 4,8kg

LURE: Robinson Sonic S28 13g

You can return to the same spot on Slovakia. We are not done harassing trout yet!

Levels 10-11

Ultimate Fishing Simulator 2 Tips how to level up faster - Levels 10-11 - 607E582

The troutening is here!

Do not forget to use your level 10 skill points.

Lines are not expensive. Let's upgrade now so that our rod is better. The UFE Fluo Classic 0.30 is 5.9kg strong. It's stronger than our reel but lighter than our rod. We'll be upgrading it next.

Levels 12-13

Skill point

Equip a Robinson Trophy 14G pink spoon bait. You can return to Slovakia, location 1 – and walk straight ahead into the river until reaching a fallen tree trunk on your left (. This is almost at the other bank,). Turn left at the end to fish upstream between the rocks with your lure speed 20.

It is a good idea to catch salmon, brown trout and hutchen per gallon. If they stop biting, you can turn around and fish downstream a little longer.

This is where you can go to the next level. Once you have eliminated all trout populations, it's time move on!
