Welcome, and we hope you find this guide to The Last Starship How to build ships useful.
This is a brief guide on how to construct ships using overhanging sections of the hull.
Intro
Are you fed up of being creatively shut out
You’ve got a cool ship design, but you aren’t able to find the right location to put in the engines, guns and other externally facing equipment?
You’re looking to create an equilateral triangle, circular sawtooth, or any other unusual hull shape , while keeping the desired point defenses.
I’ve got a gift for You!
Step 1
Design, create and then set up the internal layout of your ship.
(Note Note: A queued item is a constructed item, so you do not need to wait for the installation of everything in order to proceed.
Step 2
Create the section(s) that hangs over and then apply.
Step 3
Mask off your hull overhangs.
To create the outer edges of the hull floor, the hull has to be enclosed by the hull. However the hull surrounding it is not required to be built to get the desired effect.
Step 4
The overhang should be brought down to the floor. Then, you are able to put up your walls on the outside.
This doesn’t have to be precise.
Step 5
Remove the hull masking and examine it prior to applying.
Step 6
You can customize the armor of your choice and adjust it if needed and then take pleasure in the experience!
Limitations
This method is not suitable for everyone.
When used as wall pieces, the hulls that are diagonal will default to square pieces. Don’t try to smooth out your hull’s overhang. It’s not a good idea. It is important to ensure it’s balanced so that your adversaries can detect any concealed, recessing guns or other unsavory items you may be carrying.
