Basic info about energy

Stardew Valley ENERGY and how to increase it - Basic info about energy
A player requires Energy to use tools or fish, with the exception of scythes and weapons which do not require energy. Currently available energy is indicated on the player’s energy bar..

Some energy depleting ( LABORIOUS ) activities are :-

1 ] Using your pickaxe

2 ] Using your watering can

3 ] Using your axe

4 ] Using your fishing pole

5 ] Using your weapon

6 ] Using your hoe 🙂

7 ] Eating food with negative energy

Exhaustion

The player becomes exhausted upon reaching 0 energy, indicated by an X dialog bubble above the player’s head and the notice “You feel sluggish from over-exertion.” The player’s movement speed is significantly reduced, and Fishing Poles can no longer be cast. Other energy-consuming tools can be used, but the player’s energy level becomes negative. At -15 energy, the player passes out, ending the day. If the player passes out anywhere outside the house, the player will lose 10% of their money, up to 1,000 g ..

A few warning signs exist to notify the player before imminent exhaustion. If energy is less than 20, any energy-consuming activity makes the energy bar shake and emit beads of sweat. When energy first falls below 15, a notice appears stating “You’re starting to feel exhausted.” These are warnings, not indicators of true exhaustion, and have no effect on player activities or overnight energy restoration.. you too can drag your mouse over the bar and see the energy level for yourself

Sleeping

Sleeping restores the player’s initial energy level for the next day. Going to bed at or before 12:00AM normally restores energy to its maximum. If the player goes to sleep exhausted (or passes out), sleep removes the exhaustion, but energy restoration is reduced to 50%..

How to Increase Energy

Stardew Valley ENERGY and how to increase it - How to Increase Energy
Energy can be a real pain in the butt as you’re trying to get as much done possible within a day. Not only will being out too late lead to you spontaneously dropping in tiredness, but losing all your energy will do that, too. The effects are the same, and they suck, so you definitely want to avoid getting too tired. Of course, there’s a way to increase this bar up.

The best ways to increase energy once you’ve depleted it is by eating food or going to sleep. The only way to permanently increase your energy is by eating a Stardrop, up to a maximum of 508 energy . Here are some of the ways to get a Stardrop fruit :–)

1 ] Buy one for 2,000 stars at the Stardew Valley Fair in the Fall

2 ] Get to level 100 in the Mines

3 ] Randomly given to you by your spouse

4 ] Sold by Krobus in the sewers (20,000 coins)

5 ] Give Old Master Cannoli a Sweet Gem Berry in the Secret Woods

6 ] Get the Master Angler Achievement and Willy will give you one

7 ] Donate all 95 items to the Museum and you’ll get it as a reward
