This is a simple guide to plant and detonate the C4 explosive which is reported as bugged!

Follow these steps

Step 1: Check your sequence of gadgets in your Weapon Cache screen, look under header Gadget, where loaded gadgets are displayed in two rows, on top first row (from left to right) the gadgets are binded to numbers ‘5’, ‘6’, ‘7’ on your keyboard and bottom second row (from left to right), these gadgets are binded to ‘8’, ‘9’, ‘0’ (these are the default keys under Keyboard in game Settings). The gadgets can be rearranged in any slot order as you wish, in my case the C4 explosives is on the second row taking the last slot which is binded to key ‘0’ (Zero).

Step 2: Point to location where you want to plant the C4 (press ‘E’ to pick up C4 if wrongly placed). Now press key ‘0’ (Zero), the on screen prompt to Release ‘F’ to plant C4, ignore that since when you release key ‘0’ (Zero) the C4 is planted. (This is explained in the NOTESbelow why it is ignored).

Step 3: Pess key ‘B’ to trigger the C4, if you want to blow yourself up now! Otherwise, quickly move away.

Step 4: Any soldier would know before triggering explosives, stand as far away from the explosion!

Step 5: Trigger the C4 by pressing key ‘B’ and behold the pyrotechnics!

Now look at the result of your C4 pyromania!

NOTES: The above are steps that worked to successfully detonate C4 explosive. Another alternative way of using key ‘O’ (as in alphabet O) which cycles the list of all Gadgets then selecting C4, followed by pressing key ‘F’ (to use a particular Gadget) as stated in the default keyboard Settings menu are bugged. Pressing key ‘B’ does not trigger the C4 as many in this forum and yours truly have found!
