The Tool Cupboard is an important item in your base, it provides Building Protection from preventing other players building near your base, or inside your base if being raided until destroyed,

It also provides upkeep for your base by depositing resources into it, where a timer will show you how many days is in TC before decaying starts.

Note:

A burst of 13 fuel starts a fire. Don’t be too close to the fire or you’ll burn yourself. The longer the fuel burst, the more damage seems to be inflicted per fuel spent. A a single burst of 45 fuel is enough to destroy a tool cupboard. Chainsaws seem to be better suited to resource-gathering than raiding.

Note:

Incendiary pistol bullets can start fires, but they tend to fly away from where the shot impacts. These damage values seem inconsistent, as the first time I tested a Python revolver it was 2dmg per shot, and the next time it was dealing 2.6dmg.

Popular Methods For Destroying A Tool Cupboard

Popular methods for destroying a tool cupboard might be a satchel charge, or 5 hatchets, or fire 20 buckshot shells. An alternative method of destroying a tool cupboard would be to destroy the foundation it stands on.
