Defeat Stafe 2 G using the crane only once.

Walkthrough

I recommend going for this achievement on ‘Assisted’ difficulty. You can also complete this achievement on either character and storyline!

– Before heading to the power room, save your game in the ‘Monitor Room’ with the chess piece puzzle.
– Bring your best weapons, plenty of ammunition and a Mixed Herb (G+R+B) if you have one. You’ll also be able to collect one of each herb on the way to the ‘Main Power Room’. You can bring some hand grenades if you’re low on ammo and have some to spare!
– After looting all the herbs and activating the power in the ‘Main Power Room’, walk back toward the door you entered the room from to begin the fight.
– Head to the ventilation system next to the metal garage door and stand directly under it. This will prevent the boss from being able to hit you during this phase.
– After he punches through the ceiling a total of five times and you hear him jump down outside the garage door, prepare for the next phase by simply standing to the left of the garage door.
– The moment he rips the door open and bursts through like the Kool-Aid Man, sprint directly past him and run to the crane platform.
– Immediately activate the switch for the crane to move it across the map.
– Aim for the eye on his right arm and keep track of the color of the iris. Your goal is to damage the boss enough until the iris becomes a deep red color! If you’re playing on ‘Assisted’ difficulty, another good indicator that you’ve done enough damage is to make sure you ‘down’ the boss at least three times.
– Once you’ve met one or both of these damage conditions, you can down the boss around the center of the room and quickly run to activate the crane switch. Make sure the crane does not hit you too, or you will have to retry!
– If done correctly, the achievement/ trophy will appear during or after the cutscene. If the fight continues after the crane has hit him once, you didn’t do enough damage! Load your save and try again.
