Some additional information: 
1. Sequence number of missions can be different for different people. It depends on the order of completion of the missions. If you are looking for a specific level, check the title of the mission first. 
2. Money makes your army stronger. Banks give tons of money. Make 1-2 banks if you don’t have it. 
3. Space fortress can’t produce ships. I don’t recommend to build it, unless additional mission tasks require it. 
4. Sending ships to enemy planet costs money, but sending ships to your planet is free. If enemy sent big army to one of your planets and your reinforcement can’t come in time to defend it, you can send tons of your ship (for free) to this planet before enemy captures it. You will lose planet, but all your ships in space will continue to move to this planet and can conquer it back. And you won’t lose money on this attack. 
5. Additional tasks for some mission can be unclear. For example, “Kill 520 enemy population”. You may think, it means destroy 520 enemy ships. No, it means destroy 520 ships on enemy planets. You don’t get kills if you play on defense. Next example, “Destroy 200 ships defending”. You may think, it means destroy 200 ships, which attack your planet. You are almost right. You get kills if enemy attacks metropolis or bank, but not space fortress. All kills for space fortress are counted as “kills in space”. 
6. Artificial intelligence plays badly at the beginning of the match, in some missions you can capture some of his planets on first attack.
