The most economic approach to upgrading 4* armor.

Calculations

I wanted to know the most economic way to enhance my 4* armor, so I looked at the numbers and made a little table:

             | | Item | Item | Total | Items/ |
Armor Type | Rarity | XP | Price | Costs | Grinders | Note
-------------+--------+------+-------+---------+----------+-----
Primm | 1 | 100 | 1000 | 1750000 | 350 |
Tzvia | 2 | 200 | 1000 | 875000 | 175 |
Tzvia | 2 | 200 | 0 | 700000 | 175 | when farmed
Theseus | 3 | 300 | 3500 | 875000 | 117 |
Theseus | 3 | 300 | 2000 | 700000 | 117 |
Different 4* | 4 | 600 | 11000 | 875000 | 58 |
Different 4* | 4 | 600 | 8000 | 700000 | 58 |
Same 4* | 4 | 900 | 18500 | 875000 | 39 |
Same 4* | 4 | 900 | 14000 | 700000 | 39 |

The table shows how much enhancement XP a certain item provides in the enhancement process and how many items are needed to provide the max amount of 35000 XP.

This table also takes into consideration that one item used as fodder costs a flat 4000 Meseta fee (for enhancing 4* items) and one grinder during the enhancement process. The amount of grinders is the same as the amount of fodder items to be used.

Normally it’s better to use higher rarity items as fodder but you have to consider that they take (much) longer to farm or are much more expensive in the Personal Shop. And this is where the 2* Tzvia armor comes in. After reaching 1184 BP you can easily farm this type of armor and use it as fodder as it drops frequently. That’s why I marked it basically as free compared to the other armor types. Primm is obviously out of the question as it provides too little XP and costs too much in comparison because of the flat Meseta fee.

When it comes to 3* and 4* armor as fodder and you want to purchase it from the Personal shop to speed things up, you should not buy for higher than the shown prices, as otherwise it would be better to farm for Tzvia (or buy for 1000 Meseta each).

Also note that there is no same-type XP bonus for the red container armor (Qual De: Arga/Belta/Sheza) as it’s unique. Normal Qual De armor does not provide the bonus! That could make other 4* armor types like Vialto or normal Qual De a better choice.

Conclusion: For 3* and 4* armor pieces to be effective fodder they either have to be farmed (but that can take a long time considering the drop rates) or have be purchased at the Personal Shop for at most the price shown in the table. Otherwise it’s better to use Tzvia as fodder.
