Do you ever wish you could turn back time? Do you feel like you missed out?
Are you sad you’re not in your teens/20’s anymore? Are you plagued with the nihilistic realization that life is inherently meaningless and that you will most likely spend rest of it working just to survive while those above you continuously make your life a living hell?
Do you want to play the Xbox 360 version of L4D2 but don’t have the means nor interest to purchase a 10+ year old console along with a 10+ year old game just for nostalgia’s sake.
Well fear not, dear mindless consumer player. This guide is for you!
You will need
– A decent computer that can run L4D2 on high settings.
– Xbox Controller that you can plug into said PC.
– Some addons.

NOTE: The L4D1 arms are entirely optional. I’m not sure why anyone on this god forsaken Earth would want those buggy hands back, but this is the closest I could find if you want to be really authentic.
FUN FACT: I’ve never played the actual Xbox version, but I’m pretty sure the flashlight on both games is bigger and brighter than the one in the PC version. Likely because Valve knew the player would be sitting further away from the television.
Lastly, disable all other addons.

Set the Shader, Effect, and Model detail to high. Set the gore to high. Turn on V-Sync (I personally prefer double buffered) And obviously, enable the gamepad.
mat_monitorgamma_tv_enabled 1 – makes the monitor brighter, like a TV.
The end
Once you did all that, you’ll basically be good to go. The game should be almost identical to the real Xbox version (duh), with a few minor differences. Maybe you can pretend the Last Stand happened on Xbox as well or something. Have fun.

Another things you can do is to use 1280×720 resolution, no AA, effect medium, textures medium. cl_viewmodelfovsurvivor is 51 by default in both versions. Crosshair is the same color in both versions.
