what i manage to spot is, that every chest have a small swarm of fireflies 
fireflies realy help you finding thes chests at night, highly recommend you to at least use them to find all the chests at city 
 
 
also loot is random! so keep that in mind that every time you start a new game you will get diferent items from “chests” and “wine cellar”
