Ghost in the Shell Oni (2001) – Definitive Edition

1. Anniversary Edition (AE)

 
 
 
First of all, you are recommended to install the Anniversary Edition in order for your game to have support for widescreen screens and support for modifications.

This modloader is recommended to be installed in the root of the game, as we will need it in the future. 
 
 

2. Modification for AE

 
 
 
When you have already installed the Anniversary Edition, it is time to install the modifications that are available in the list of this program.

3. ReShade

 
 
 
The most delicious thing, I think, is the shaders for the game! Yes, you can now install new graphics for Oni! 
 
What do you need to do to make your game seem fresher on the graphics side: 

1. Install ReShade 1.1 version (Be sure to use version 1.1, as it has a mediator so that you can easily change the configurations!) 
2. Extract files from the archive to a convenient location. 
3. Click on Mediator.exe 
4. Next, click “Add” and adding Oni.exe from AE folder (don’t touch a vanilla EXE Oni!) 
5. Choose OpenGL or Direct3D (I chose the first) 
6. Click “Confirm” 
7. Click “Add” on the button below (this is the name of our configuration for the game) 
8. Click “Update” 
9. Click on the orange button at the bottom [Permanent Push To Application]

 
First job done! It remains to adjust the effects for the game to make everything look perfectly. The images below show the configurations that I selected. I recommend that you choose the same settings. 
 
 
 
 
 
After we’ve selected the effects, let’s tweak them a bit. 
 
 
When we have configured everything and everything, then click on “Apply”, in category “Setup” click on “Update”, at the end select “Permanent Push To Application”. Done! You can safely close the reshade window and start the game.
