s.1) Prerequisites
- In order to achieve the level of detail and anti-aliasing displayed, you will require an NVIDIA graphics card, however this guide can be followed without such a graphics card, and still achieve a vast graphical improvement over the vanilla game.
- You will require a (free) tool for opening .rar files, such as https://www.7-zip.org/, or
https://www.win-rar.com/start.html?&L=0 - You will require a (free) tool for opening .txt files, such as https://notepad-plus-plus.org/downloads/ or “Notepad”
s.2) Overview
Graphically speaking, my Fable is very atmospheric, its world is vibrant and fantasy-esque, featuring environments distinct from one another, contrary to the desaturated and monotonous vanilla game.
If you too would like a world oozing with character (as seen in s.3 below), head on over to

s.5) Installations
- Open your Fable 3 Game Directory, the file location where your “Fable3.exe” and “Data” folder can be found.
In my case, “D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fable 3”, yours may be on your “C:\” drive. - Navigate to your “Downloads” folder, right click and open “Boulotaur2024.Injector_CeeJay.dks.1.4” with either 7-Zip or WinRAR, and drag only the files which I have highlighted in blue below, into your Fable 3 Game Directory.
- Navigate to your “Downloads” folder, right click on “SweetFX_Settings_b’Fable III (Fable 3)’_b”, and rename it to “SweetFX_Settings_b’Fable III (Fable 3)’_b.txt”You will know this has worked if you see “Text Document” written besides “SweetFX_Settings_b’Fable III (Fable 3)’_b”, as seen in the image below.
- Navigate to your Fable 3 Game Directory, drag your modified “SweetFX_Settings_b’Fable III (Fable 3)’_b”, into the “Preset” folder located in the “SweetFX” folder, as seen below
- Navigate to your Fable 3 Game Directory, open “SweetFX_preset.txt”, you will see that it says:” #include “..\..\SweetFX_settings.txt” “Starting from # and ending with the second “, replace the above with:
” #include “../Presets/SweetFX_Settings_b’Fable III (Fable 3)’_b.txt” “
You can see in the above image, the six files we copied from “Boulotaur2024.Injector_CeeJay.dks.1.4”, into the Fable 3 Game Directory , this is how your directory should look! :).
s.6) NVIDIA Settings
