To get free rewards, new players need to find an in-game mentor as soon as possible. This guide will explain the Mentor system. It will also show you how to get one, what rewards you get as a mentor and how to complete all the missions.
CounterSide has an unpublicized feature for new players. This is a shame as it offers rewards for things you do in-game.
The Partners (friends list) menu has a tab called Mentee. This is where CounterSide's Mentee / Mentor system is located.
It might seem confusing at first, but I'll do my best and explain how it works.
What is the Mentor System and how does it work?
The Mentor system in CounterSide is CounterSide's equivalent to a referral program in other games.
You can either enter someone's (business registration number or) player ID, or choose from a recommended list of players, and then add them your mentor.
You will be assigned a mentor and given a series of missions to complete. Once you are done, you can claim a certificate. random SSR character ticket For a free SSR Character
You mentor will also get a reward if you complete all of the mentee missions.
A mentor is an added resource. They don't have the obligation to approve your mentee request Once you have added a mentor to your team, you can begin working on mentee missions immediately.
NOTE: You can't change your mentor so choose wisely (unless your mentor fires you; more later on).
What are the Rewards?
As of September 2022, the main reward for the mentees system on the Global Server is the random SSR character ticket You will be rewarded for completing all the mentee tasks.
It also gives you:
- Quartz (freemium currency)
- S-APT Core tickets (, the cubes used for limiting break your units
- Blue tickets (gacha currency that can be pulled on non-awakened banners.
- Dive currency & Raid currency (Britra)
- Info (for skill training, and to begin dives & join raids.)
- Loyalty contract, (, is basically an "oathring" that you can use once your unit reaches max loyalty. This allows you to play a cutscene and unlocks new voice lines. It also prevents them from losing loyalty for failing missions).
None or all of these rewards can be missed, so it is not the end. However, a free SSR Character and a few currencies you will run short as a new player will help you kick-start CounterSide.
It can be very helpful to have a mentor to talk to and to help you learn the ropes.
How do I become an Mentee?
It is important to realize that Once your account has reached level 26+, you cannot become a mentor. . i.e. To become a mentee, your (company account level) must not be lower than (inclusive).
You should apply to mentorship as soon as possible to avoid missing out and outleveling yourself.
Adding a Mentor
You can become a mentor by simply adding a mentor.
Click on the Mentee screen and either the box to the right with the + sign or the button to the bottom.
This will open a screen with a random selection of potential mentors.
Once you've found or selected the mentor that you want to add to your network, click on the button "Add as Mentor", next to their profile.
Because you can't make your mentor change Lena will arrive and confirm that your selection is correct.
After confirmation, your mentor is locked in and you will return to the Mentee screen with a list of new missions.
If you're a Global player and find this guide helpful, please consider adding me as your mentor. 😉 😉

Now you have a mentor. There are a few missions you need to complete before you can get your random SSR character.
The following mentee missions have been established as of September 2022 according to the Global Server:
1. Reach Company Level 15.
This is easy: Level up your account to 15. Playing the game will make this happen.
Company level (account Level) is what you see in your lobby screen's top-left corner.
Which stages offer the greatest company exp? Usually the most difficult and high-level content you can clear.
CounterSide does not have dedicated EXP grind stage like other games. So work your way through the main story episodes and do your (supply operation simulations. Once you clear them) you can farm the hardest event level.
2. Consume 5 000 000 credit
It is very simple – just play it.
Credits can be used for items such as crafting, upgrading, and buying items in the daily shops.), and probably many more that I haven’t mentioned.
3. Consume 100 000 Eternium
Eternium is CounterSide's stamina/energy source. Play the game (. See mission 1 – Mission).
4. Clear Main Stream EP.3
Clear Episode 3 of the main narrative (in Normal mode. You'll need to work towards Episode 5 of the main narrative, so you'll complete this mission.
This mission does not require you to have a 3-medal episode or 100%. Clear it.
5. Dispatch missions last 50 hours
These are your expeditions/logistics missions/etc., where you can send units or ship teams on timed missions. Once they're finished, they return loot with the chance to get bonus items from (. This is based on the rank of your branch manager unit.
You can open branches on the World Map. Each branch can send 1 dispatch mission at once.
This mentee mission can be completed in a limited time This means that you may need to wait up until a week before you finish it. It all depends on how many branches your company has and how often you are able to check the game and dispatch your employees.
All types of dispatch missions count towards the above It doesn't really matter if it's Exploration, Mining, Security, Office Work, or Defense.
More information on the World Map and Branches is available in the
Prydwen: Beginner’s Guide – [prydwen.co]
6. Clear 15 Dives
Clear any 15 dives. These include those in the bottom-right corner of the World Map screen.
You can find this
Prydwen.co – An introductory guide to diving –
For more information, click here
7. Participate in a Raid 5x
This mission also relates to World Map branches (- Mission 5 -).
You will find a button labeled "Exploration Status" at the bottom left of the World Map.
If you don't see the button, then you haven’t yet unlocked Raids. To unlock Raids you must send dispatch missions from your branches until a random raid spawns. You can then either share it (with friends and your consortium) or kill the raid.
How do I spawn a raid or dive? After completing any dispatch mission you have a small chance of spawning a raid, or diving. It's completely random . To increase your chances of spawning a raid, spam the 1-hour dispatch missions. Gacha-within a-gacha hell. 🙂
If you've ever looked at branch facilities, The CSE Passive Radar cannot help you with this. (it increases your chances to find higher-level raids and dives, but not the base chance of spawning them). (Distortions can be referred to dives or raids together. If you have an uncompleted diving on a branch, you cannot spawn a raid there).
After you have successfully sacked your first raid, click on the button Exploration Status to open a screen with a tab named Support Request. Here you will see raids that your friends and fellow members of the consortium have shared.
You will need to "Support" five raids in order to complete the mentee mission. You don't have five raids to complete the mission, but you can only attempt two raids (. See the screenshot above) for the "Remaining Count" section. After attacking a raid at least once you will see that raid in your "Participation History". This tab also shows your own raids (regardless of whether or not they were attacked).
You can can raid any discovered targets, but it's a waste. Because the raid discoverer is already guaranteed maximum bounty when their raid is killed, .
8. Recruit 50 times
You can recruit 50 times using any gacha banner, even awakened units (. NOT the Recruit-through-Partners banner). This mission can be annoying if there is no free recruiting event.
Some tips here: Don't spend your quartz for blue ticket banners (, which includes the new player banner that the game tries force you to roll on. You can exit out of this game and reopen it to skip the "mandatory pull").
You want to save money on banners with pity (, "Ensured Recruitment":
Yang Harim, also (, is a fantastic woman and highly recommended if possible!)
This pity does NOT appear on blue ticket banners If you aren't rerolling accounts (, which you can't do on Steam) yet, remember that pulling for a regular banner units when you don't have enough tickets to pity them could lead to disaster…
CounterSide always gives 1 free recruit every day Even if there are no events, you can still complete the mission in 50-days while hoarding your tickets (. Although this might lead to going over the time limit, it is possible to do so.
Also, Do not use your blue tickets to support the "Recruit On Demand" banner . This banner is for free, so only use it.
Next steps and becoming an Mentor
Now you have a mentor and completed all the mentee missions.
Congratulations! What's next?
Mentee Rewards are a one-time reward per account. So claim your rewards and you're done. (Good Luck with your random SSR ticket)
Becoming a Mentor
Once you reach company-level 26+, you can be a mentor. Rewards are given each "season" (. This is based upon the number of mentees who complete all their mentee tasks in time.
Kicking out the Mentee system
What happens if I reach company-level 26+ before I complete the missions?
If you already have a mentor once your account reaches Level 26+ If you do, you can continue with your mentor missions; you won’t be kicked off because of that.
Dismissed for Inactivity
If you haven’t completed all of the missions or are inactive for more than 3 days, your mentor could choose to dismiss, forcing you to search for a new mentor.
If your account has reached 26+ levels by the time your mentor kicks, you won't be able add another mentor to your account and will be permanently locked out.
You can only complete the mentee reward once per account. However, the Mentee/Mentor system resets approximately 90 days apart, so mentors can get more rewards for new mentees.
You can see the time limit in the upper-right corner on the Mentee tabscreen.
I don't know what happens to you if you don't complete all the mentee tasks before the time limit expires. However, unless you start playing CounterSide just before the reset takes effect or you have terrible luck unlocking Raid system, It's too risky for me! (Please let me know if this happens to your and how it worked out!)
tl;dr: Don’t neglect your mentee tasks. You won’t have problems. Mentors who are inactive and slack with their mentees can make them cry.
This is all for CounterSide Mentor System & Rewards hope you enjoy the post. If you believe we forget or we should update the post please let us know via comment, we will try our best to fix how fast is possible! Have a great day!
