The ultrawide feature of Asterigos Curse of the Stars was not properly implemented at release. This causes you to lose vertical vision and makes your area appear too narrow.

This is especially annoying when combined with the lock on mechanic for combat, as enemies (mostly bosses and) can move away from your view while you’re locked in. This zooms the camera towards you and places the enemy you’ve locked onto out of frame.

This allows you to add a few lines in an ini. File the problem and fix it. Ezy Pzy.

This issue may be resolved as the game is still in beta. Also, this is only available to ultrawide users.

It’s simple and quick.

Start the game to create a saved copy. An existing save file will suffice.

Locate the required config file. C:\Users\<YourUsername>\Saved Games\AcmeGS\Asterigos\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor .

There you can now open the Engine.iniA file. There will be a list in the [Core.System] section. You can ignore this and just below the file, add this line:

[/script/engine.localplayer]

AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV

This will fix vertical scaling. You can always delete the line above if there is a fix.
