Learning to use the brake and less turn to be faster

The Technic of using the brakes (Trail Braking) is something we all come to start learning at some point, but how do we the pros turn and be fast using less steering input?

The Technic is to use the brakes to steer then try to add more steering input. This is nothing to do with wheel settings, or changing the wheel rotation in the game. This is to do with experience, and only the experience driver starts to learn this.

I give you an example; I had my wheel set in the game to 540 as it is said for the BMW M4 GT3 2022, I had to turn more as my wheel was not centred. Bring it back to 900 in the game and on the software for the wheel make it 1:1.

Back to the technic,

So, this technic can be used in every racing sport, not just NASCAR. If you steer more with 180 rotations. You’re going to be slower and more of a chance to lose it because of the wheel snapped on you. If you use the brake and trail brake, you have less steering input and be faster rather adding too much steering input and losing time, then gaining time.
