Grand Theft Auto V List of the Best Vehicles in GTA V + Cost Detailed Guide 61 - steamsplay.com

There are many vehicles in GTA Online, so it can be hard to put them into perspective. This guide will fully explore these vehicles, giving information you wouldn’t normally know about them, choosing the best in their category, their prices, and explaining their unique purpose.

⚠️Disclaimer

None of these vehicles are in any specific order. All vehicles use their “Trade price”, and not the set price. Vehicles that new players should look to own are marked with “Must Have ★” next to its price. When I mention how many “missiles” something takes to destroy, I mean Homing missiles, and not RPGs. I have hyperlinked videos in the descriptions, check them out to see the vehicles purposes. This guide was created on Steam and nowhere else. Images via GTA Wiki.

A remote controlled mini-tank that can be called via your interaction menu. It has 4 options for weapons: The default canon, a flamethrower, a rocket launcher, or a plasma rifle. The ranges on these weapons are short, so its best to get the Plasma rifle. The tank is slow, makes the same noise as a regular vehicle, so it can easily be spotted and tracked. It has good armour, taking barely any damage from bullets, and takes 9 missiles to blow up. Has a jump ability like the Bandito. Can easily be pushed around easily by civilian cars and especially cop cars. Can be used to run people over. Does not appear on radar for other players. Cooldown is 2 minutes.

🤢Vehicles to Avoid

These are vehicles you shouldn’t buy under any circumstances.

– HVY Menacer ($1,775,000)

Grand Theft Auto V List of the Best Vehicles in GTA V + Cost Detailed Guide - 🤢Vehicles to Avoid - 61864B3

A vehicle that almost seems like a Chinese copy of the Nightshark and Insurgent Pickup. It is slow, and has little torque. It can only survive 19 missiles, which is not enough to survive a MK2 Oppressor attack. The turret gunner has no protection from incoming bullets. One positive is that the windows are short, so its harder to shoot in. It would be better if it had a price of around $500,000.

– Blazer Aqua ($1,320,000)

Grand Theft Auto V List of the Best Vehicles in GTA V + Cost Detailed Guide - 🤢Vehicles to Avoid - 6E7272E

Not much to say except its a Blazer (a quadbike) converted into a sea-doo. It can travel on water, but so do many other vehicles. The Technical Aqua is a similar vehicle, but it is faster, has a turret on the back, and is $200,000 cheaper.

– Lectro ($750,000)

Motorbike with a KERS function (similar to the Formula vehicles) this sounds cool, but the bike is incredibly sluggish and slow, even with the boost function. The KERS ability also cannot be used in races, unless the race creator allows this in the settings.

These are supposed to be stealth bombers, but there is nothing really stealthy about them. They are also incredibly large, and also slow, when they should be the opposite. The Alkonost goes off players radar when its above 1,660 feet. The Volatol earns the nickname “Dorito” due to its triangular shape.

🤔Tips

– Any of the air vehicles (except the blimp) on this list can be put into a Hangar. Hangars allow you to customize these vehicles, but not all of them have upgrades. (the ones that don’t can only be resprayed) Putting an air vehicle in your Hangar means it will be insured, and that you can call it via your interaction menu as a personal vehicle, instead of calling it via Pegasus.

– To restock missiles for a vehicle that doesn’t have unlimited missiles (Stromberg, Deluxo) you can take it to an MOC, driving it back to your garage and out, or recalling it.

– All muscle cars can perform wheelies by holding the handbrake, holding the gas, then letting go of the handbrake.

– If you find your vehicles getting stuck often, you can get the Up-n-Atomizer weapon ($399,000) to free it.

– The best way to counter the MK2 is with a defensive vehicle, as it can survive its limited 20 missiles. Using sticky bombs to throw at them in the air works well. If you have a vehicle with landmines or kinetic mines, plant them and use alleys, the underground, or tunnels to lure them in.

– Bulletproof tires are a must, they’re vital if you want to make a getaway. They cost $25,000 and ensure your tires don’t pop. Some armored vehicles have this pre-installed. Unlocked at Rank 20.

– Countermeasures are Chaff, Flares, and Smoke. they are defenses that prevent missiles from hitting you. The chaff is best to use as it prevents people locking onto you for 7 seconds. Flares only stop 1 incoming homing missile. You get 10 chaff, or you get 20 flares, though you’ll never use this many. Smoke is useless and wont stop missiles.

– Planes that drop bombs can be upgraded to drop other bombs, including Explosive,Cluster, Incendiary, and Gas bombs. Use Explosive bombs, as their radius and damage is the best.

– Always put 100% Armour on weaponised/armoured vehicles to gain more resistance to bullets/missiles. You get Armour upgrades by going up each 20 ranks until you reach rank 100.
