TIPS and How To Back Up Your Playlist

Your entire playlist is saved in your browser’s local storage. This means that your presets, playlist and preferences are not reset every time you start your computer.

How to save playlists/presets

1 – Open the CEF dev tool, click on the right side, then on the application. After expanding the text, click on “file ://””. This will display all LocalStorage that has been saved to the port. However you will only need the key named “music-player-3”, where the presets and songs are saved.

2 – Double-click the value and then copy it into a notepad, or another writing tool. You can also replace it with previously saved values.

This is a great way to ensure that you have a backup of your songs in case the wallpaper crashes and resets itself. It also prevents you from having to start over.
