ReShade is the best method to experience a more immersive TT Isle Of Man Ride on the Edge 3 Experience!
But take a look for yourself, ReShade enabled:
It is freeand at least this preset (‘ TT3-WEEDs_Realism.ini ‘) does not require much additional performance and can take up to 5 minutes to install.
How do I Install ReShade
1. Click here to go to
https://reshade.me/ – [reshade.me]
Download the latest version.
2. Now execute and install the downloaded ‘ReShade_Setup_5.8.0.exe’.
2.1 Follow the steps in the video, if you’re unsure on how to install ReShade properly.
2.2. Choose Game (TT3 –
2.3 Choose DirectX 11 version
2.4 Select the preset you want to skip (or, optionally: choose the preset that was created Preset.ini).
2.5 Select all Effect Packages
If you’ve done everything right and you’ve done everything right, you’re good go.
2.7 Click Finish (and think about becoming a Patreon member if you wish)
3. Now, before you run TT3 as usual on STEAM, you’ll need to create your ReShade Preset first.
Hint:
You can install all effects packages in 2.4 or you can choose the ReShade Preset manually created from the next chapter.
How do I create a ReShade Preset using a notepad
1. Go to your game directory (steam library) by using Explorer
(? :\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\TT3 –
2. Click on the empty space to create a new text file (*.txt).
3. Open the blank text document in Notepad.
4. Just copy and insert which is the text from the next chapter in this guide!
4.1 …then save and close the text document.
5. Finally rename the new text document to “TT3-WEEDs_Realism.ini”, or as you prefer, save and accept.
5.1 Yes, also change the extension of the file from ‘.txt and change it to ‘.ini”, so that ReShade can recognize and load your preset.

How to set up ReShade (ingame)
You’ll see an alert at the top left of your screen each time you start the game, if ReShade has been installed correctly.
This will look like:
The ‘HOME’ / ‘POS1 key is the standard button for enabling or disabling the ReShade menu overlay.
ReShade settings can be found by pressing ‘HOME” in the main menu.
Set the key to turn on/off ReShade. For instance, set it to “END”. (second line)
For reasons of performance, you may also tick (activate) the “Load only Enabled Effects’ box.
How to switch a Custom Preset
In the game, press ‘HOME’ to go to the ‘Home’ tab of ReShade.
Click on the first line to activate your preset.
