Hello and welcome to the first (and probably only) guide on how to pet the frog and receive alternative ending in Risk of Rain 2!

 
 

How to find the frog.

Stage or Difficulty doesn’t matter.
 
Kill the Mithrix and go all the way back to the spawn.
 
Be fast cuz there’s a countdown.
 
Congratulations now at the middle of the spawn there is a spooky frog waiting for you.
 
 
 

Alternative Ending.

First of all you should own the DLC.
 
This ending will cost you 10 Lunar Coins.
 
 
– Get close to the Frog.
 
– Pet the frog 10 times. ( You can pet the frog many times as you want but it’ll cost you 1 coin )
 
– “A darkly purple portal appears..” this message appears in the chat.
 
– Once you get in the portal you have to kill the Alternative boss “Voidling” to finish the game.
 
 
There isn’t any achievement for this ending but that’s actually cool because can kill both Mithrix and Voidling in the same run.
