I Report Silly Buggers Trying To Cause A Problem

And

My Typing Is The Same As My Doctors Handwriting So I Do Not Care In Advance

Note!!!!! Read Everything Before You Start Fixing

These Fixes Will Make Sure Risen Runs Like Superior Branded South African Stalk Butter

This Guide Is Best Used By AMD Chads, But This Will Still Work Just Fine For NVIDIA

This Guide Compiles Everything You Need For The Superior Risen Experience Including A Compilation Of Other Guides,

Since I Don’t Wanna Steal From Fellow Piranha Bytes Fans Others Peoples Fixes Will Be Listed

Now For Two Spicy Things You Should Do First

First Go To

C:\Users\User\Saved Games

And

C:\Users\User\AppData\Local

And Just Delete The Risen Folders In Both Sections

It Will Reset Your Achievements As Well As Make Sure Your Fixes Take Affect The Next Time You Start, Sadly You Will Have To Start New Game But It Is Going To Be A Much Better Experience Fam

Note!!!!!!

You Can Find Your second Risen Folder As Well By Searching %appdata% In Your Windows Search Bar

After That Go To

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Risen\redist\physx

Go Here Manually Through File Explorer In Your Risen Folder

And Select The Installer And Select Run As Administrator

And Let It Install, This Will Work Regardless Of Whether Or Not You Use AMD Or NVIDIA

This Will Prevent DDL Errors, It Wont Stop Crashing But It Will Fix The Non Fps Related PhysX Problems You Have Been Having

Note!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even If Your PhysX Drivers Are Up To Date The Game Won’t Detect Those Versions

You Have To Use The Games Redistributable Package

List Of Other Peoples Guides You Must Do Before Continuing

Note!!!!!! Do The Ram Patch Before The Unofficial Patch To Prevent Conflict

Don’t Forget To Delete The Backup.exe (its Icon Is Completely Blank) after doing the ram patch

After Applying These Fixes The Game Should Run Like This

Risen How to Fix Bugs in Game - FOV & Sound Error - List Of Other Peoples Guides You Must Do Before Continuing - 0A27BA2

Note!!!!!

If Its is Not Running Like Stalk Butter, You probably Typed The Code Wrong You Must Copy And Paste The Code Fam And Remember To Not Type Them manually UwU

Also Sadly Just Like Psychonauts The Game Will Break At Anything Higher Then 60FPS, And You Need A 3rd Party App To Force The Frame Lock, Its irritating But Its The Only Way To Stop Your Character From Walking In The Sky Or Disappearing When Climbing Ledges

Don’t Complain To Me If Your Game Is Running Like Inferior American No Name Margarine

Not To Be Mean But I Am Not The Author Of These Guides I have Listed

Complain To Them

Now For My FOV Fix

Now Go Back To ConfigDefault.XML Listed In The Bug and Performance Fix Guide And Do This

On Line 93

FoV=”75.000000″

Change FoV Value To What You Like

I Set Mine To 90

FoV=”90.000000″

The PCGAMINGWIKI Says The Game Ignores FOV But I Have Noticed Minor Differences When

Aiming And Other Things Like Moving The Camera While Sitting And Blocking I Recommend Still

Changing It To What You Feel Comfortable looking At, Just Because Its Nice TO Have

Now For My Sound Fix

This Will Enable Clearer 7.1 Surround Sound And Open More Audio Channels

This Works On My Cooler Master MH752 So It Should Work On Whatever You Are Using It On, As Long As Its 7.1 or Higher, Obviously It Will Cause Problems On Stereo Headsets So Ignore This Step If Your Headset Doesn’t Support 7.1

Go To LIne 182

MaxChannels=”128″

And Change It To This

MaxChannels=”256″

Got To Line 186

SpeakerMode=”2″

Change It To This

SpeakerMode=”8″
