Requirements

You will need the following:
 

• A PC copy (Steam/Origin) of the game Plants vs. Zombies™ Garden Warfare 2: Deluxe Edition.
   
   
   
  I will be using the Steam version of the game for the guide.
• Cheat Engine ( Available for free here – [cheatengine.org] )

That’s all!
 
 
 

Actual Guide

Firstly, make sure Cheat Engine is installed (simply run the downloaded executable and install it).
 
Then do the following steps:
 
 
1. Make sure Cheat Engine (and the game) is running.
 
 
2. Head to Dr. Patient (in Zombie Mode) and open up his quest menu. You will notice that the fist mission “You are cordially invited…” grants you 2500 coins upon completion. The goal of this guide is to convert the 2500 into an absurdly high number (such as 10000000) such that you will receive not 2500 but 10000000 coins upon completing this simple quest.
 
(You don’t necessarily have to do this one, this method works on other quests too)
 
 

 
Open up Dr. Patient’s quest menu.
 
 
3. On cheat engine, choose the game from the process list as shown:
 
 

 
 
Open the process list.
 
 
4. Then, select the game from the list:
 
 

 
Select the game.
 
 
5. Input ‘2500’ into the Value field, select ‘Float’ as the value type, and click ‘First Scan’:
 
 

 
 
Input 2500, select Float, and select First Scan.
 
 
6. Next, select all the addresses (CTRL+A), then right click them and click ‘Add selected addresses to the addresslist’.
 
 

 
 
All addresses should be in the addresslist as shown.
 
 
7. Select all the addresses (this time from the addresslist, again with CTRL+A), and change their value field to ‘10000000’
 
 

 
 
Change the value of all the addresses to 10000000
 
 

 
 
This is your goal.
 
 
8. After this, go back to the game and finish the quest as normal. Once you complete, you should be rewarded 10000000 instead of the normal 2500.
 
 

 
Your total coins should be 10000000 + your original value.
