PAYDAY 2 Death Sentence One Down – Maniac Build

About The Build

• If you really want aced deployables you can remove Body Expertise, Surefire, and Fire Control and get whatever deployables skills you want. 
• This build will use all 120 skillpoints. 
• The Legacy Collection is recommended for certain weapon and weapon attachments but they can be substituted with Non-DLC items. 
• This build will not use inspire aced or any aced deployables. Yes, it’s possible to play Death Sentence without them. 
• Maniac will take some getting used to if you’re not used to it but keep practicing and you will eventually understand how to use it.

Why is there no inspire or aced deployables?

 
If you really want aced deployables you can remove Body Expertise, Surefire, and Fire Control and get whatever deployables skills you want. What I like to bring when not running aced deployables is an ECM for the feedback and to turn turrets onto your side for a brief amount of time. Only do once you get accustomed to the build and know you won’t down a lot. 
 
Inspire is by no means a requirement if your team isn’t full of rouges going down 10 times per game abusing medic bags and Swan Song. In the event your teammate downs, if they’re competent they will down in a good revive spot and you will clear the area of enemies with your LMG. Concussion grenades come in handy for revives so have that ready. 
 
 

Tips On Playing Maniac

• Stick to cover and only run out to grab ammo or to move from cover to cover when you know it’s safe. 
• Remember to use your Concussion Grenades when you need to revive a team mate, if you get trapped, or to move but there’s too many enemies around. 
• Spray that LMG to keep that Maniac bar filled all the way up for maxium damage absorption and occasionally hit heads to activate Bullseye. 
• Use your Krinkov or a fully charged Ice Pick with 15 bloodthirst charges to kill dozers.

Mastermind

 
 
 
Nothing much going on here, just two basic skills are needed from Mastermind. 
 
Combat Medic basic will give you a 30% damage reduction for 5 seconds during and after reviving another player. This is useful when you don’t have inspire. 
 
Stable Shot basic gives a nice 8 stability, very nice to have on an LMG. 
 
 

Enforcer

 
 
 
Underdog Aced: This will give a damage boost and damage reduction for seven seconds when you get targeted by three enemies. 
 
Scavenger: Bigger radius of ammo pickup. 
 
Resilience Aced: For those pesky flashbangs. 
 
Die Hard: This skill lets you take 50% less damage when interacting with objects. Useful for when you are doing the objective or reviving teammates. This stacks with Maniac’s damage absorption. 
 
Transporter: I like running this when playing ICTV builds since you move much slower. 
 
Shock and Awe aced: Allows you to knock back shields with your guns or with melee. 
 
Bullseye: A must have on all builds. This allows you to regain armor when you get a headshot so that you don’t take health damage. 
 
Iron Man aced: Unlocks the ICTV armor. 
 
 

Technician

 
 
 
Hardware Expert: Lets you fix drills and saws faster. I run this with every build. 
 
Steady Grip aced: An extra 8 accuracy and 16 stability. 
 
Fire Control: Extra accuracy when you are spraying from the hip. 
 
Surefire Aced: Grants 15 extra shots and allows your guns to pierce enemy armor. 
 
Lock N’ Load aced: Able to fire your gun when sprinting and gives you a reload increase after killing 2 enemies. A must have with a slow reloading weapon. 
 
Body Expertise aced: Makes LMG’s even more powerful than they already are. This skill gives you more damage when shooting enemies in the body. You can mow down large waves of enemies with this. 
 
 

Ghost

 
 
 
Duck and Cover: Another must have on all builds. This lets you regen stamina faster and earlier. It also lets you sprint 25% faster. 
 
Parkour: Allows you to move faster with the slow ICTV armor. 
 
Second Wind: Useful for sprinting to cover fast when your armor breaks. 
 
The Professional aced: Increased accuracy and stability with suppressors. 
 
 

Fugitive

 
 
 
Nine Lives aced: Grants 1 extra down 
 
Bloodthirst: Builds up melee damage with every kill you get. Caps out at 15 kills. No need to get the aced version here since we have lock and load aced. 
 
Pumping Iron aced: More melee damage to normal and special enemies. 
 
Berserker aced: Gives you more damage the less health you have. This paired with body expertise makes you have insane DPS. 
 
Frenzy aced: Starts you with low health so that you get the benefits of Berserker right away. 
 
 

Primary Weapon #1: KSP (DLC Required)

 
 
Mod the KSP with the following attachments: 

• Long Barrel 
• Bigger The Better Suppressor 
• Stability Boost 
• LED Combo 
• 2 Piece Stock

Primary Weapon #2: KSP 58 (No DLC)

 
 
Mod with the following: 

• Bigger The Better Suppressor 
• Stability Boost 
• LED Combo 
• Plastic Stock

Secondary Weapon: Krinkov SMG (No DLC)

• Auto Fire (Leave blank if you have no dlc) 
• Moscow Special Rail 
• Speed Pull Magazine (Leave blank if you have no dlc)
