Food Truck

This is your driver’s food truck. . You can freely and quickly create sundaes here to earn tips or Tickets. There are no incoming Orders to follow, just create what you want!

This is a great way to earn tickets, extra tip money or to practice your sundae making skills. The recipe doesn’t matter so long as you are punctual.

To earn tips in addition to 3 tickets, ensure that you visit the food truck on a regular basis! To earn the maximum number of tickets, you’ll only have to serve seven customers (good orders)

Creating Food Truck Orders

Cup Size, Build ingredients, or Blend Amount have no effect on tip amount. Your score is only affected by the accuracy in Build Station Meter selection, accuracy in topping selection, and precision when topping placement is concerned.

This is also Free Play Mode so there is no Wait Score penalty. The Wait Score is always 100%, regardless of how much time you spend.

It is Important to know that After a certain number of Food Truck Orders in a single day, you won’t get any more tickets and your the tip amount gradually decreases to nothing despite an accurately filled order.

Note: Doing nothing but 100 food truck orders in a row will be more effort than income in the long run, so just make the food truck a daily task instead.

 

Tip Amount

I have tested the topping amounts for all toppings and found that there are only three kinds of food truck orders. The categories of orders are the maximum tip amounts that are based on the number of total toppings on an individual order.

Max Tip Amount	The number of toppings	Example
$1.50	Place 1 or none of the toppings 100 100% accuracy	There are no toppings other than Whipped Cream, or 1 topping of any type.
$2.25	2 to 3 Total Toppings 100% accuracy	2-3 Sauces 3 Shaker Toppings, 2-3 Placement Toppings Any variation of 3 Toppings combined.
$3.00	4+ toppings are placed with 100 percent accuracy	4+ Sauces, 4+Shaker Toppings and 4+ Placeable Toppings. Any combination of 4+ Toppings.

 

Note: You will only reach the max tip amount if Toppings are applied with 100% accuracy.

Note: Topping variety has no affect on max tip amount, only Topping quantity.

There are a myriad of options for orders, but I’ve discovered that the maximum tip for Food Truck mode is $3.00. So feel free to be as creative as you want.

You can order any Topping in the game and still receive the same $3.00 tip.

The best Food Truck Order for the highest tip, in exchange for the least amount of effort and time is:

A small, chunky blend of sundaes with 4 Placeable Toppings.

Note: If you recreate the favorite order of a regular Customer, they may or may not visit you at the food truck. ( See achievement 090 Food Truck Fanatics)

Note: You can also switch the current holiday ingredient selection at the top of the screen to reveal more holiday ingredient options!

 

Tips

 

Remember exit the food truck and re-enter the next day to keep receiving max tickets and tips for your efforts. 

To save time and be as efficient as possible, you can select Chunky Blend Amount and Small Cup Size as those selections (marginally) take the shortest times to fill. 

To make the most Tips in the least amount of time, just accurately make Orders with 4 Placeable Toppings each. This is the fastest and easiest way to make the max tip amount.

Special Orders

There are 40 Special Recipes you can earn.

Serving your customers accurately can result in new special recipes. . A customer will carry an golden Envelope. They, like Closers, grade you more rigorously in the event that they have an envelope. If you do a good job, the Envelope will be opened and you can create a new Special.

Each Special comes with a bonus benefit when it is served . Some will provide you with higher tips, while others could award you more Points earned when the Special is served. There are a variety of Bonus Effects that you can receive. For more information on individual Bonus Effects, please refer to the Specials Glossary.

At the beginning of the Day, you may select Today’s Special in the STATS Menu or by clicking the COOKBOOK tab in the Menu. To select the day’s special, click the TODAY’S SPECIAL button. You may toggle this off from the same menu.

If you purchase the Specials Outside Sign, and assign a special recipe to it and more customers will ask for an extra special on their order. This makes it easier for you to get all five (5 – Stars on said Recipe. You can also toggle off this feature within the same menu.

If a customer orders a Special order, their Order Ticket does not include all the details about how to complete the Order. They order very quickly in return. You can use the Special Star S button in the top left corner of the Screen to quickly access the required ingredients. You can also stop the game to browse the COOKBOOK section of the menu.

Each time you accurately craft a Special you earn an Star. Once you’ve completed the Special Recipe five times, you will receive an additional reward. For more information about Special Rewards, look up the Specials Glossary.
