How to Get Metal Scraps in Enshrouded Guide
Metal Scraps are really important in Enshrouded, especially when you unlock the Blacksmith and need them to craft Metal Sheets. So, how can you reliably find Metal Scraps? While my other Enshrouded tips give some early game help, let’s look specifically at getting Metal Scraps.
The most dependable way to get Metal Scraps is by beating up human enemies, usually found in camps and villages. They won’t always drop Metal Scraps, but you’ll often get one or two from defeating them. Since enemies respawn a lot, you can revisit nearby bad guys to gather more Metal Scraps when you need them.
Also, while exploring these camps, you might find Metal Scraps just lying around on tables and benches. Walk up to them and collect them by pressing “E.” If you need more, try smashing some random furniture. Metal beds tend to give Metal Scraps more often, but you can also find them in crates and stuff.
Once you’ve got Metal Scraps, you can use them for some cool things.
First, you’ll probably want to build the Forge, which takes 10 metal scraps plus 10 charcoal, 12 wood logs, and 30 Stones. The Forge lets you combine 2 Metal Scraps and 2 Charcoal to make 1 Metal Sheet. You need Metal Sheets to craft armor, shields, etc.
Metal Scraps also let you make Nails, Axes, Pickaxes, Rake, and Lockpicks. You need those to open the locked chests you find while exploring.
Now you know all about getting Metal Scraps. It’s also good to learn how to get Shroud Cores in Enshrouded. You need those to level up your Flame Altar.
