Here you find a complete set of modifications that will fix most problems and recover many features in your GTA IV: The Complete Edition with just a simple download and installation.

Goal

After playing in most of the versions, I saw how broken the PC port is. Because of that I decided to make this compilation of modifications to make the game what it should have been. This includes many fixes to textures, models, characters, lighting, etc. This modpack even includes other optional modifications to enhance your game or if you think they are necessary for your experience. I hope you all like it!

What’s Changing?

1st: Added again the removed soundtrack from the cla*sic PC version and consoles;

2nd: Niko clothes from the Consoles version were added;

3rd: Added the same visual effects from the Console versions;

4th: Fixed textures errors;

5th: Fixed characters models and textures;

6th: Now the game has dynamic shadows;

7th: Fixed the recoil on the weapons;

8th: Now the cutscenes play at 60FPS;

9th: Fixed some vehicles models;

10th: Improved vehicle shadows at night.

Warnings

By installing these modifications you are denying the Rockstar Games EULA. Any errors or problems in the game the communication should be made with the guide’s creator or the author of the modification. To avoid problems, if possible, backup the original files.

Make sure you have a clean version of the game. If you add this modpack with other modifications (scripts, textures, models, etc) the game will crash or have some bugs. If you don’t know how to make a clean reinstall check the tutorial I made in the Modpack & Changes section.

Modpack Download & Changes

The installation is very simple. Download the modpack and extract the Main Files into the game directory replacing whatever is needed. Make sure that you have a clean version of the game (No Mods). To make a clean reinstallation just delete the Grand Theft Auto IV folder (In Steam Commons folder), and then, Verify Game Integrity.

Changes & Improvements (01/31/2021)

Complete change on the modpack and guide (before called Improved Version, now Called The Cla*sic Version);

Added fixes to the FIB agents;
