I haven’t seen a guide for Faylinn’s Quest Dark Cave. And although I know there is logic to the choices, I couldn’t see it. This is a list with the choices that worked for me. These are the things I did by writing them down as they happened. After a successful run, the "path" was confirmed by playing from a saved save twice more.

This guide can be used to complete an ingame quest and unlock a Trophy.
 
 
 

Dark Cave Choices

Re-enter the cave. (The choices below may also be applicable on the first entry but I don't know how to test that.
 
 
1. Touch random walls. You will find a passage! etc.)
 
2. Touch the walls. You will find another passage! etc.)
 
3. You can't see where your are.
 
4. Look for a passage. etc.)
 
5. Reach for the ceiling (You need to turn on a switch!)
 
6. Touch random walls. You will find a passage! etc.)
 
7. Look for a passage. etc.)
 
8. Touch random walls. You will find a passage! etc.)
 
9. Look for a passage. etc.)
 
10. Touch random walls. You will find a passage! etc.)
 
11. Touch the walls. You will find another passage! etc.)
 
12. Touch things randomly (A hole in a wall!)
 
 
From the pop up menu, select [Proceed]. The story will continue normally. You will soon complete a Quest, and then unlock a Trophy.
