Please keep in mind that this game is in early access and is made by a small company. Be patient for official optimizations made by the developer themselves. These tips are improvements to fps, not miracles.

Nvidia Control Panel

A more advanced way to optimize the game is with the use of Nvidia Control Panel. Once in the program,
 
click on ‘Manage 3D settings’ located on the side bar:
 
From there click on the ‘Program Settings’ tab in the middle, click the ‘add’ button, and select ‘UE4’. Now click the dropdown on the left and scroll until you see the long name with the Unreal Engine logo.

Conclusion

Another thing you can do is simply look down a bit while playing, it sounds silly, but actually increases fps dramatically lol.
