This should help fixing these types of crash.

Fixing the crash…

Hello.

First you should check your game files integrity in the game steam properties (at local files).
And update your graphic drivers to latest version.

After that, if you have still crashes you can try this:

Start Registry editor by pressing Windows Key + R or opening the command prompt and typing regedit in the input field. Press Enter or click OK to run Registry Editor.
In the left pane navigate to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/GraphicsDrivers

Now in the right pane you need to create a new DWORD if you own 32-bit version of Windows or QWORD if you use 64-bit version of Windows. Name the new DWORD or QWORD TdrDelay.
Now double click the TdrDelay and change its value to 8 or 10. (beware value must be decimal!)

Close Registry Editor and try running the game again.

If this doesn’t fix the problem and you are still experiencing these crashes, then try this:

Start the game, go in game options and reduce the buffer memory details. (you can also reduce others graphic details if you are experiencing ingame graphic latences)

Hope this helped…

This fix works also for game ATLAS.
