Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough 1 - steamsplay.com

A one-stop-shop for everything you need to achieve 100% in Supraland.

The first full English Steam Guide explaining every achievement. I will do my best to highlight spoilers and not divert from the learning experience the developer designed.

I’m not going to pretend I didn’t look at any other resources while creating this. When I’m quoting or referring to information I’ve gained from other guide creators, I’ll do my best to link to their guide rather than plagiarise their content. Think of this guide as a ‘Hub’ to get all the info you need without having to search.

According to news from the dev, a second DLC is coming to public alpha sometime in Q2 2021. As soon as it reaches a stable build that contains achievements, I’ll probably update this guide to reflect the additional content.

Introduction

Since none of the achievements are missable please take your time and enjoy the game the way the developer intended.

As a note, if you are stuck on a puzzle, you can most likely skip it and do something else. In a bid for the most awesome dev ever, DavidM created a https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1407074713giving non-spoiler hints for every major puzzle in the game. A https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1712332807 of that guide is also available.

There’s also an https://steamcommunity.com/games/813630/announcements/detail/2945884024698415386from the dev explaining the design philosophy of Supraland which you may find interesting.

Following the completion of the ‘story’ component of the game, you will get certain tools which makes clean-up of remaining chests/coins etc much easier, so don’t stress too much about skipping one or two puzzles.

Many parts of this guide are adapted from https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198181117178‘s great achievement guides for the https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2214246287 and https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2275369923 which are in Russian. A massive thank you to her for giving me consent to use her guides as a source.

Supraland – Mandatory/Story Achievements

These are obtained as you progress through the game. It’s a useful way of telling what stage of the game a player has reached, as outlined by the developer in https://steamcommunity.com/games/813630/announcements/detail/3047216285009553892. I’m using the developer’s list of ‘mandatory’ achievements for this category.

Jesus Christ Suprastar

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
Same as ‘Groupies’, but you’re now a missionary. Take the sign to the statue near the chapel.

Supraland – Completionist Achievements

These are achievements you get for cleaning up everything in the endgame. Don’t worry too much about reaching these sooner, as you’ll get tools to help you once you finish the main story.

I suggest working through these achievements in the order below, especially for the first two.

Poor ancestors

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
This requires you to destroy all 198 enemy spawn points across the map.

Useful Upgrades:

  • Wooden & Stone Cross destruction – To destroy Stone Crosses you need both upgrades
    • Holy Sword – Locations: In the Red Crystal Tower area, behind the metal door with a 2-second green button and behind metal door in the ravine after the Rattle Hag arena.
    • Holy Gun – Location: In Redville house blocked by metal bars and after the Rattle Hag big door, behind 3 wooden graves.
  • Volcano Sealer – Locations: Received for completing a puzzle which you reach through the pipe requiring 166 stars.
  • See Grave Count – Shows the number of remaining spawners.
Location: There’s a green pipe above the Rattle Hag arena. This takes you to a secret area behind the Blue King’s castle. You’ll see a giant lake with some crystals at the end. Swing across using the Force Beam to get the upgrade.
  • Grave Detector – Location: In Redville, through the large house which uses a white crystal and a red sensor, there’s a TD minigame that you have to complete.

Happiness

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
I suggest getting this before trying for the other Completionist achievements, as it really helps.
Its effect is that it gives you a much better jump height, making map traversal a lot easier.
You can get it by buying it from the shop in RedVille for 1337 Coins.

Shelf filled

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
For this achievement you have to find all 12 dead heroes and retrieve their special items.
You should find most of them by exploring normally. If you’re missing some, once you finish the game you’ll get something to help you find the rest: In your house, the wizard has given you a map of the entire sandbox, which shows every dead hero location as a head.

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
Open all 172 chests!

If you’re having trouble finding some chests, there’s a number of upgrades that can make your life easier:

  • See Chest Count – Location: For sale for 337 Coins at Redville shop after defeating Farting Meatbag
  • Chest Detector Radius x2 – Location: For sale for 474 Coins at Redville shop after defeating Farting Meatbag

If you need some help, https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2131715708 gives spoiler-tagged hints and solutions to every chest in the game.

Crash DLC – Mandatory/Story Achievements

The DLC bears no relationship to the base game. You can start it at any time and you don’t have to finish/100% the base game first. It does, however, build upon many of the mechanics learned throughout the base game, so the dev recommends finishing the base game first.

I’m not 100% sure all these are mandatory – I’ll have a think and if I realise some aren’t mandatory, I’ll move them.

Once you build the final rocket, you’ll get a warning on the screen saying that once you speak to the scientists the game won’t save anymore. This just means that once you do the final part of the game (after talking to the scientists) you’ll load right back to the same point. So you can continue with your achievement hunting without a problem, whether you do it before or after the end.

Crash DLC – Optional Achievements

These are achievements you can skip/miss unless you look around and explore.

The Giant’s Workshop

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
There’s multiple ways to get into the Giant’s Workshop.
The two easiest ones are:

  • Using the hill behind the Lego house in the starting location to jump onto the plank.
  • Through the hole in the wall on the hill that is left of the plank wall (again, at spawn).

Once you get to the Giant’s Workshop, help the NPC found by stomping on him.

A good cause!

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
Once you help the NPC in the Giant’s Workshop, he will ask you to find some Red Coins. There’s 13 Red Coins to collect.
Most of them are very easy to find, just look around the Workshop area (including inside the drawers and under the crates). There’s 2 you probably missed:

  • One is inside one of the boxes under the workshop. There’s a Waldo in another.
  • The other you’ve probably seen but weren’t able to get. You need to use the same ball momentum mechanic from the base game (see ‘Momentum’ achievement) where a yellow ball hitting you gives you enough momentum for a long jump.

Birds

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
During a story quest you robbed a blind NPC of his precious green bird. Now you find another blind NPC who would like a bird…Do you hear me? Is it loud and clear? Over.

Invisible Wall

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
Find the NPC next to the invisible wall (similarly to the base game).
Location: In the area behind the queen’s palace (?) look for a white ledge that looks lower than the others. There’s plenty of ways to get there once you have the teleportation and cube bounce upgrades.

Horticultural

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
Knock around and help one of the locals.
Location: After getting the Door Knocker, inside one of the houses in Orangeburg you will find a lady who asks you to water her plants. There’s a sponge nearby. You’ve already learned how to release water upon an area from an earlier puzzle.

Obvious Area

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
You know the drill. There’s a waterfall, so there must be something behind it. Right?

Shady stick

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
Inside Orangeburg you will eventually find a globehead proving the sandbox is a globe using the shadow of a stick. The stick is made of wood. Savvy? Use the Force Beam to yank the stick out of the ground. It’s really sad that you had to check this.

Non-NPC

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
Maybe, like me, you thought you needed to keep breaking the pots from the button salesman, and you spent 10 minutes cycling through the same lines of dialogue. Ah, the good times…
One of the houses near the button salesman has an NPC which has purchased one of these buttons. Once you get the Door Knocker enter the house and smash some pots.

Top of the world

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough
Get to the top of the world. I’m pretty sure you can figure out where you have to go…it’s just a question of how. There’s multiple ways to get there, but here’s my solution: Climb the ledge close to the tower and use your Cube/Force Beam combo to make your way to the platform that the globe is resting on. In the edges of the platform you have enough space to place a Force Cube, then bounce off it to get to the top.

There he is!

Supraland Complete Achievements Guide + Crash DLC Guide and Walkthrough

For this achievement you need to spot all 23 Waldos across the map. These become visible at different stages of the game but do not disappear if you don’t spot them immediately.

Most of them are quite easy to find. Look around and be inquisitive. Many of them are in places that should attract your attention anyway! You don’t need to touch them, just look at them.
