If you’re stuck at a tough spot, use a couple of these tips to progress further!

Check back often for updated Tips and Tricks!

Resign Slider

This little slider will help your character Resign at whatever level it’s set at. If your HP drops below that level you will lose but not die. Carefully setting this will let you squeeze out a couple more wins and at points, your death.

World Seed Beginner guide & Gameplay - Resign Slider - E2EFBB8 I think that it really depends on how many hits you can take from the enemy. If you can only take 2 hits and are depending on block then set the slider higher.

If you can take a ton of hits and are confident that you won’t die quickly, set the slider lower or to nothing for a higher chance of a win.

Party

World Seed Beginner guide & Gameplay - Party - 85E21EDAll players start the game with a Tier 1 character. As you progress through the basic quest and increase your Highscore rank tier (99, 312, 707, 1407) you will unlock a character slot and a bag slot.

Mouse-over Top Middle to see your listed Highscore (it’s the highest level creature you’ve killed)

You’re first Character will always stay Tier 1, you can not increase it. In the future you will have more slots and can kill off your first T1 Character to buy a higher tier Character.

Once you are at least Silver Rank you will have an extra character slot.

Visit the shop at the world tree (remember you can Fast Travel back and forth freely) to see if you can purchase another Character.

Check the shop after every hourly world timer reset for a character. EACH element world has a chance for having a new character to buy with their Tier being based on what Rank you are.

The elemental worlds all have characters in their shop based on the element. Fire having dwarves, Water having Merfolk etc.

You can change your party but to do so you must first get a character killed. Unequip all items for the character you want to get rid of and fight a mob around town that can kill him/her.

New characters will show up in the shop even if you have a full party so keep an eye on shops (even in other elemental seeds) every hour!

Combat Stats

Combat Stat caps are in place for offensive and defensive mitigation. Armor, Block, and Dodge all have 95% total mitigation cap. Armor Pen and Attack Speed also have a 95% and 200% respectively.

There is also a cap on elements as well at 95%.

If I understand the dev, the green numbers (for Atk Spd, Armor, Armor Pen, Block, Dodge, Crit Chance) cap at 95% and combining the green number with your flat number of mitigation/damage caps at almost 100%

Don’t Forget!

If you find gear that is higher than Tier I(1), Make sure you assign the attributes of the item by left clicking on it in your inventory/bag and selecting (the higher) option for all the open Tiers.

For Example: If you have a Tier IV(4) item, select it and select an upgrade/extra stat for Tier 2-4

Dismantling and Crafting

World Seed Beginner guide & Gameplay - Dismantling and Crafting - A2B9D57

Every item has a GearScore and when you dismantle it for the first time at the world tree (top right for dismantler) it will be available for crafting.

If any of these items had already been learned but had a higher level when dismantling it would say I can now craft that new item level.

The crafting menu will show you what you have learned and in brackets it shows you what Item Level you can craft.

Tile Tiers

Tile Tiers progress from I – X (1-10) and are uncolored at I-IV (1-4) but are colored for V-X(5-10)

V = Blue

VI = Purple

VII = Yellow?

VIII = Yellow?

IX = Pinkish

X = Red

The Higher the tier, the harder the monster inside but the better the loot on all the cards.

Good tip obviously is scavenge high tier tiles and not fight the monster card if you can’t defeat it.

Skull Tiles

Skull Tiles are immediate forced encounter tiles. Once you step on one you MUST fight whatever waits for you.

Be Careful! A skull tile can spawn a single monster of the tile tier (T6 in this pic) or it can spawn any number of monsters and tiers to equal that tile’s tier.

So in this picture, I encountered a T6 forest skull tile and encountered 2 x T2 and 2 x T1s = T6

Chests and Seeds

World Seed Beginner guide & Gameplay - Chests and Seeds - B4A889A

FYI: Chests and Seeds both have a chance to spawn in a tile’s Gathering card as well as a monsters card. To maximize your chance of finding seeds/chests, mouse over both of these cards to scan for items you want!

Chests are very important at progressing in this game.

You can take a couple steps into a higher level bracket (1-11, 12-22, etc), find the lowest level monster of that bracket and kill it, then open a couple chests for randomized loot of that higher tier because that is your “Highscore” now.

World Seed Beginner guide & Gameplay - Chests and Seeds - 75E2F26Seeds are used to change your world to another element alone. Using a frost seed will change your world to only a frost zone, etc.

They are also needed to jump to a place someone else linked that is in an elemental zone.

NOTE: If you click to fast travel to a place that needs a seed, it will consume the seed first so if you cancel the travel, the seed will be gone.

Final thoughts

Kill monsters in a safe level bracket for you, 1-10, 11-22 etc. Loot items and dismantle/craft to progress to the next tier. Go back to town and repeat

-You can zoom out if you play in the browser by holding control and scrolling backward or forward (in/out). This may cause more lag

-You can start moving in a direction and click off the client/browser to keep moving in that direction. Useful in the void zone or water zone (if you have enough merfolk tiers) to get to higher level Ranges.

I’m sure there are many other things i’m forgetting.

If you have questions or need help, please hit me or anyone else up for help in game or in the game’s Discord (found by clicking in the menu on the top right)

Good luck and may the void guide you!
