Basics
As a beginner you’ll probably play on recruit until you feel ready for higher difficulty well here are some handy tips
–In hordes make sure you block and push as to avoid being surrounded trust me being surrounded by a horde on legend is no fun for anyone
–Don’t go speeding ahead of everyone or trying to get the most kills because it wont help you or your team instead stay with your team you have better odds of surviving if you get snatched up in a horde or just snatched up in general
–Make sure you communicate with your team to use chat press Y or Enter
–You can mark things by looking at them and pressing T
–You probably already saw crafting in your inventory just leave that stuff alone until you’re higher level, since early on you wont need to craft
What dangers/things should you watch out for on legend or higher
well now that you got the basics down here’s some tips to not get murdered on legend
–Firstly watch out for friendly fire it can be annoying especially to all you zealot 1 hp mains out there
–The hordes will be longer and will be coming from the front and behind so make sure you tell your team to stay close
–Specials have ridiculous spawn rates normally noone cares until you meet……….the Leech meet the leech he doesnt care about anything,he’s single,he’s THICC,and most importantly he’s a douche bag dont be like the leech
–Make sure when you’re against packs of enemies especially specials and elites to block and push because unlike recruit you can’t soak it up and keep going on legend a stormvermin does 1/3 of your health bar now imagine fighting 6 of them at the same time so yeah i rest my case
–Probably the most important tip here don’t be toxic just cause you got top stats doesn’t mean you’re cool we all have our good and bad days/missions instead stay as a team, work together or as a wise man once said
–Lastly watch out for monsters usually they can be pretty easy but don’t take the risk if you end up dying cuz you wanna have 10000000000 kills you’re team pays the price so don’t be that guy who mucks it all up
Before you go to legend
Before you go to legend difficulty make sure you have at least 300-350 power level now the ideal power would be 650 but you prob don’t care cuz you gotta get that loot but here’s some things you can do to quickly raise power
–On your best character collect high level artifacts and trinkets you can use them on all characters and they can be a fast way to raise power
–Just level up only half the power can be obtained from gear(sadly) i know its boring but trust me its worth it when you’re not getting 1 shot by everything while your team complains
–Ask some buddies or people to help carry you through higher level missions usually this will get you the best gear which in turn you can then use to raise your power
What to do if you’re being a nonce and charging ahead?
Alright if you’re trying to get yourself killed guess i cant stop you but i can help you not die so fast here’s the basic stuff you should watch out for while out solo
oh and how could i forget about this guy
so yeah there’s all kinds of nasty stuff that can snatch you up however they all have sounds cues the assassin will say “attack from the shadows” when he spawns and the hook rat he will have a very very distinct clinking sound when he walks
then there’s also the problem of hordes as mentioned earlier relax just don’t get surrounded and keep push and blocking specials and elites are harder than most to kill but just try get behind them where their armour is weakest
Tips for boss’s and rasknitt
Along your journey of merry slaughter with your band of merry men you will have to fight 4 boss’s burblespue, ribspreader, idk the third ones name i forgot and rasknitt(final boss) most of them are pretty easy especially ribspreader and the third one but the others are a nightmare so here’s some tips to kill them
–rasknitt will mount a stormfiend with a minigun so kill the stormfiend first no matter what otherwise the fight is super hard
–ribspreader will sometimes use an attack that yeets you and your team away when he starts raising his hammer start blocking
–burblespue is annoying but has no special moves other than the fly swarm he will launch at you make sure to hit or shoot it when you can
–the third boss has low health but high damage his special move is he can pounce on you and pretty much insta-down you
How to know what character suites you best?
there are a grand total of 5 characters to choose from and all of them are really fun to use but which one suits you best here’s my basic guide to know which one you should pick
–Markus Kruber is a very versatile character that anyone can pick and i’d recommend him to beginners or even veterans he can soak up a lot of damage and dish out even more
–Bardin is a very good character for people who are teamplayers rather than solo he drops ammo randomly for his team and can soak up pretty high damage
–Kerillian is a great solo character with her abilities she can survive all by herself even in the harshest scenarios but she can also be a teamplayer too
–Victor Saltzpyre also a fantastic beginners character he can soak up a lot of damage and has really good abilities for example if you use his zealot career he’s pretty much near immortal
–Sienna is just fun to use now don’t get me wrong she’s a very good character that’s very versatile she can be a teamplayer or even solo she can survive the very toughest the game can throw at you all while keeping her sense of humour
There’s so many weapons which one do i pick?
Now honestly speaking even i don’t know all the weapons however i can recommend the best one’s in my opinion for you
–For Kerillian i’d highly recommend dual daggers or the spear
–For Bardin i’d recommend dual axe’s/hammers
–For Kruber either the longsword or if you have the dlc’s mace and sword
–For Sienna fire sword unless you have the dlc’s in which case flame flail is godly
–For Saltz this one is more down to your preference but if you have dlc’s then get falchion and axe
What’s up with chaos wastes
I only have 3 words for you Greatest Dlc Ever i wont spoil anything but its great fun if you have some buddies to play with
