This guide will help you unlock all the secrets characters in the game with the 0.10.0 update. Also, you can find all cheat codes right here.

Description

This guide applies to the 0.10.0 game version. However, you can still unlock characters from previous versions if your unlocking methods haven’t changed.

Cheat codes are also available to unlock secret characters. These cheat codes can also unlock secret characters. They are located at the bottom section of the guide under “Cheat Codes”.

The devs have updated the 0.10.0 update to add an item that will allow you to check your progress on hidden content. This guide becomes a bit useless, but it is written in a puzzle-like manner. You can read the “Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane”, which explains how to unlock the item.

If you have trouble unlocking a character, make sure to check your game files. Right click on the game from your Steam library, then properties, and finally local files.

To make sure that the guide for secret characters does not become a guide to 100% completion, I’ve added spoilers as well as notes at the end.

Exdash Exiviiq

Features:

+100% luck. Each 10th level gets +10% more luck, until level 50.

To unlock them, you will need to quickly enter the code x-x1viiq You can do this by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard while you are in the main menu. Then, you’ll hear a jingle. That means you have unlocked Exdash. The character is yours for free.

If you use a French AZERTY keyboard, change the setting to EN in Windows. x-x1viiq You’ll need to type x)x&viia . Then, you can change the keyboard back.

You can also use the on-screen keyboard to solve your problem.

You can unlock him using the “secrets tab” in the main menu. x-x1viiq You must type exdashexoneviiq For more information, please refer to the “Forbidden scrolls of Morbane” heading.

You can also pick up a little clover and increase your luck by 10%. This will give you a TotalCollected/65535 chance at unlocking Exdash. TotalCollected refers to the number of little clovers you have collected.

Toastie

Features:

1 health, +100% luck, every ten levels gets +20% luck, on Level 100, you get +9998 health, and on Level 200, you get +65520 armor.

Toastie cannot be unlocked until Exdash is already unlocked.

To unlock them, you will need to kill one or more of these enemies

• Stalker (green).
• Drowner (blue, always spawns near the bottom of a map)
• Trickster (pink).

After that, you will hear a sound (not unlike unlocking a character; you can hear it).

You’ll see Toastie for about half a second (see image). To unlock Toastie, you just need to spam the Enter key and down arrow key on your keyboard simultaneously. S does not work for WASD players. I believe it should be down and the Start button for controllers. However, I’m not sure.

If everything was successful, you’ll hear the jingle. This character is also available for free.

Pentagram or Gorgeous Moon is the best way to defeat these enemies. But, Pentagram doesn’t always kill them. When enemies don’t drop experience gems, it means Pentagrams erased them. So it won’t count. Stalker and Drowner can be killed with normal weapons. However, they have insane amounts HP so I wouldn’t recommend.

Rosary, which is a pick up on ground that kills all enemies, or minecarts in Dairy Plant are also options.

All three of these spawn in Capella Magna. It is a scripted event (Drowner at 5:10, Stalker at 10:10 and Trickster at 15:10). The hp they have is lower, but only while the main boss of this map has not been defeated.

They also spawn at Boss Rash at 11:00. Their stats should be lower than in Capella Magna but it is not yet confirmed.

Stalker and Drowner are seen in The Bone Zone (Stalker, 10:00, Drowner, 20:00), but both vanish after a few seconds.

Gallo Tower, Gallo Tower, Drowner only, appears at 25 minutes, when the crab boss arrives. However, if you kill Drowner, he will also disappear.

Dairy Plant Stalker is a threat to dairy plants. It can be seen at 1:00, 8:00, and 12:00. However, the greater your luck, the lower your chance of getting it.

Smith IV

Features:

7 health, +100% luck. +0.01 Health Recovery, +0.7% might and +0.7% Area, +0.7% Speed, +0.7% Speed, +0.7% Speed, +0.7% Duration, +1% Luck, and -0.25% Cooldown for every level. Vandalier at the beginning.

Toastie, Exdash and other programs must be unlocked.

You must type Spam You will find the hidden 30-second timer in the main menu. Next, click on character selection. Type Spam There is also an option to choose a random number, type Spam In the stage selection, choose random stage, enter a run, and then type Humbug . You should hear the unlock jingle. Smith is priced at 7777 gold and can be scaled with other characters.

If it doesn’t work, try again. Humbug Type instead Spam If you have your arcanas unlocked, you can also access them in the arcanas Menu. You can also use on-screen keyboard

Boon Marrabbio

Features:

-80% greed, +10% curse, -110% speed. Thousand Edge from the beginning.

To unlock him, you must have collected at least 100 ground chickens. The current run will allow you to collect the last chicken. Also, you will need Yellow Sign. (For details on how to unlock this sign, see note 1).

You will then need to go into Mad Forest to get Pummarola, and Skull O’Maniac. You can either pick them up on the floor or from the level-ups. The Mad Groove arcana can be used to make it easier (see note 4 for how you unlock it). Others say you should get them up to max level but I didn’t and it worked fine.

If you did everything correctly, you’ll see a trail paved with pies. Follow it, and you’ll find a shadowy boss. (see image). Some claim that they didn’t keep the pies, but the boss still appeared. After defeating it, you will hear a jingle that indicates you have unlock the character. It costs 666 gold and scales with other characters.

You can also unlock your character by typing Fettinepanate In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Minnah Mannarah

Features:

-70% might. +10% might on every 3 levels up to level 24. Stats change daily. Bloody Tear right from the beginning.

You must have Yellow Sign unlocked. (See note 1 for how to unlock).

A cheese will be available on the Dairy Plant for pick-up (see image). You can select Mad Groove arcana, so you don’t have to search for it yourself (see note 4, but some people claim it’s at the top right corner of the starting point).

7 werewolves will appear upon picking up the cheese (see photo). To unlock the character, you will need to kill all of them. It costs 666 gold and can be combined with other characters.

Leda

Features:

-80% greed, +5 armor, +100% might. Holy Wand from the beginning

To unlock the character, you will need to go Very far down The Gallo Tower. After a while, your screen will start to get darker and the music will stop. You can continue to go down and soon a boss, which is identical to the character, will appear (see image). It doesn’t move very slowly and doesn’t teleport. After defeating the boss, Leda will be unlocked. It costs 666 Gold.

Peppino

Features:

+100% magnet, -100% movespeed. Soul Eater from the beginning

O’Sole meeo must be unlocked first to unlock Peppino (this is not a secret character). Note 5 for how to unlock it.

Choose O’Sole when choosing a character and Il Molise when selecting a stage. For 100 000 health, you will need to heal these plants. Celestial Dusting is the O’Sole’s main weapon. It heals the plants and not damages them. The jingle will let you know when it’s finished. Peppino costs 666 Gold and scales with other characters.

You can see that you’re healing plants and can turn on damage number.

Also, you can choose the arcana Silent Old Sanctuary to speed up the process. Mindbender (see tip 10) makes it easier to avoid accidentally picking up weapons from the level-ups.

You can also unlock your character by typing pinociampino In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Gains Boros

Features:

+2% growth per level (no limit). Heaven Sword was available right from the start.

To go up, you must choose The Bone Zone as your stage selection. There will be a flower band that heals the character. After about 10 seconds of standing in it, you’ll hear an unlock sound. Gains are 666 gold and can be scaled with other characters.

The spawn location should be just above the ring. If the Yellow Sign is not unlocked (note 1,) you will need to move on to the Silver Ring.

You can also unlock your character by typing Highfive In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Red Death (Mask of Red Death).

Features:

100% movespeed, +155 health, +20% might. Death Spiral is available from the beginning.

Red Death is only unlockable if you kill Reaper, which will come after the 30 minute mark (or 15 minutes in bonus locations, I’m sure).

The easiest way to unlock Yellow Sign (see Note 1), choose a random level (for me Mad Forest was easiest), and then pick Mad Groove Arcana (see Note 4) to evolve Clock Lancets with Laurel into better versions. This will make it almost impossible to be a Reaper. You can choose heavy damage for 4 of your left weapon slots.

I do not recommend getting curses. However to evolve Clock Lancet & Laurel, you must max out the items that give you curse. This is a sacrifice you will have to make.

Other arcanas which can help you are Out of Bounds, (see note 7), and Awake (see not 8).

Red Death costs 666 Gold and can be scaled with other characters.

You can also unlock your character by typing ablasphemousmockery In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Gyorunton

Features:

300 health, +2 revivals, +30% might. +1% curse every level (no limit). You can find evolutions within every chest.

Although the character isn’t cla*sified, I find it difficult to unlock. No achievements mention this character so I decided to include it here.

To unlock Gyorunton you will need to survive 15 minutes at Boss Rash. You are allowed to have items. Boss Rash is only accessible if you have the following:

For all 5 main stages, unlock hyper mode

The easiest way to do this is to choose a strong, secret character with a weapon. I chose Leda, and it worked great.

The Silent Old Sanctuary arcana could be used right away (note 6). To do more damage, you can get the Game Killer arcana (note 9), once you have exhausted all your resources. You can avoid accidental weapon pickups by making Mindbender (note 10) unlocked.

Gyorunton can be purchased for 5000 gold and scales with other characters.

You can also unlock your character by typing secondevolution In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

MissingN#

Features:

Random stats when you go into character choice, weapon also changes from Death Spiral or axe and back

It was initially believed that you couldn’t unlock the item on newer versions of the game. However, thanks to

It is now possible. This character is a “removed” one on the Wiki. It cannot be unlocked in-game and you will need to modify the save files. But, this will make you ineligible for technical a*sistance, as the game developer says. This character was previously unlocked by killing the Reaper.

If you use save files, close the game.

Manually

1. Locate this file in your file explorer

• Windows: %appdata%
• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/
• Linux: ~/home/$user/.local/share/

I’m not certain about Linux paths and macOS folders. However, the folder has changed in the 0.9.0 versions. Please correct it by commenting in the comments if it is.

2. Find the folder Vampire_Survivors_Data
3. Keep a backup SaveData.sav Mix it up SaveDataBackup.bak.sav )

4. Open SaveData.sav In a text editor

You don’t necessarily need to restore from backup. You should see missingN# on the character menu. It is unlocked and free.

These changes will be effective immediately upon restarting Vampire Survivors.

If that doesn’t work, try turning off Steam cloud sync (right click on the Steam game, then properties, and after that you can turn it back on), or launch Steam offline.

Big Trouser

Features:

+1% greed at all levels (no limit), Gold fevers last longer, and can be used with any weapon.

To unlock Big Trouser, you must collect all the items on Moongolow stage and max out them. Yellow Sign (note 1) means you don’t have to collect metaglios and rings (items necessary to evolve Clock Lancet or Laurel), nor do you need to max your weapons. You must leave the stage prior to the Reaper or you will be killed. You can’t count the Tiragisu that you have maxed out 2 times if it is taken from your inventory.

I unlock the character with Gains using mindbender (note 10) and Silent Old Sanctuary Arcana (note 6-).

Big Trouser is priced at 5000 gold and scales well with other characters.

You can also unlock your character by typing earrivatolarrotino In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Cosmo Pavone

Features:

+1 recovery, +1% luck each level, +1 revival per 100 levels (no limit). You can have up 8 weapons, but not Peachone or Ebony Wings.

You must unlock Zi’Assunta Belpaese (note 1) and Yellow Sign (1 note). To unlock Zi’Assunta Belpaese,

open a coffin in Capella Magna

.

In stage selection, choose Capella Magna and Peachones with Ebony wings as weapons. You can also have other weapons. Next, go to the top at the starting location where the crown is and the tiragisu is. You have two options: pick them up or leave them. I chose to pick them up.

If everything is in order, the gates should be opened and Cosmo should be on the balcony. The character costs 666 Gold and scales with other characters.

Exdash is the easiest way unlock the character, as they already have Ebony wings.

The wiki states that you need to have 0 eggs in order to play the character you’re playing, even if the eggs are turned off. Otherwise, nothing will work. Exdash had no golden eggs, so I cannot be certain.

You can also unlock your character by typing lhovistoio In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Forbidden Scrolls in Morbane

This item allows you to check your progress on secret content on-game, though it’s not always clear there what to do. It is not that difficult to unlock.

You need to choose The Bone Zone when you are prompted for stage selection.

). At the bottom of the starting place, but above the rings if you have Yellow Sign, you will see a questionmark. It’s an enemy, and it’s always moving (see the image). It kills others and gets stronger as it kills more enemies. Therefore, I recommend that you pick a strong secret character, such as Red Death or Leda, to kill this enemy as fast and efficiently as possible.

You can defeat it to unlock Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane. A button appears in the main menu where you can access all the secrets you have unlocked and those you don’t have.

You can also “cast spells” there or write cheat code – see the Cheat Codes heading.

Cheat Codes

They are known as spells in the game. They allow you to cheat and unlock content quickly and easily.

The cheat code must either be entered in main menu or tab “secrets” (see “Forbidden Scrolls to Morbane” heading). Codes that are not found in the secret menu must be entered within two seconds to register the full code. Arrow keys are also required for directional input.

Notes

Note 1 (Yellow sign)

Allows you to see hidden items on the map (note 3 on how to unlock the map). It can be found in Moongolow after defeating its final boss. You must unlock hyper mode for four stages to unlock Moongolow.

Note 2 (Randomazzo)

Randomazzo allows you to unlock arcanas. Randomazzo can be found in Gallo Tower. The map shows its location (note 3 to unlock the map).

You can also unlock the relic and Sarabande of Healing arcana through typing randomazzami In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Note 3 (Milky Way Map).

Enables the map in the Esc menu and shows the items on the stage. It is located in the Dairy Plant. An arrow indicates its location.

You can also unlock this relic simply by typing Leadmetothecheese In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Note 4 (Mad Groove arcana)

See note 2 on how to enable arcanas.

If you survive longer than 31 minutes in Mad Forest you can unlock Mad Groove. It pulls all items, pick ups, and light sources on the stage towards the player.

The easiest way is to unlock Clock Lancet and Laurel by unlocking the Yellow Sign. (note 1).

You can also unlock Mad Groove (note 9), Out of Bounds(note 7), Disco of Gold (note 6) arcanas through typing aintnobodygottimeforthat In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Note 5 (O’Sole Meeo character)

To unlock this character you need to kill 3000 Dragon Shrimps (see image). They are located in Gallo tower.

To see how many you’ve already killed you need to unlock Ars Gouda (see image) in Dairy Plant.

This character can also be unlocked by typing reset In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Note 6 (Silent Old Sanctuary Arcana)

See note 2 on how to enable arcanas.

If you survive for more than 31 minutes in Dairy Plant’s Dairy Plant, you can unlock the Silent Old Sanctuary Arcana. Each empty weapon slot will increase your stats and give you +3 Rerolls. Skips and Banishes.

After unlocking the Yellow Sign (note 1)., the easiest way is to unlock Clock Lancet and Laurel.

You can also unlock Silent Old Sanctuary arcanas such as Out of Bounds(note 7), Game Killer (note 9,), Mad Grooves (note 4), and Out of Bounds(note 7). All you have to do is type aintnobodygottimeforthat In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Note 7 (Out-of-bounds arcana

See note 2 on how to enable arcanas.

If you survive for more than 31 minutes at Gallo Tower, you can unlock Out of Bounds. It is easier to find orologions which freeze enemies and cause explosions.

The easiest way is to unlock Clock Lancet and Laurel by unlocking the Yellow Sign. (note 1).

You can also unlock Out of Bounds arcanas such as the Game Killer(note 9), Silent Old Sanctuary(note 6), Disco of Gold (note 4) and Mad Grooves (note 4) arcanas through typing aintnobodygottimeforthat In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Note 8 (Awake arcana).

See note 2 on how to enable arcanas.

Gives you +3 revivals. A revival gives you 1.1x max strength, +1 armor, +5% might and +5% area.

If you reach 99 level with Krochi, then you can unlock the Awake archana. You must reach 99 level with Krochi to unlock Krochi.

Kill 100 000 enemies

Note 9 (Game Killer arcana)

See note 2 on how to enable arcanas.

This arcana can be used to stop a player from earning experience. Instead, all experience gemstones are converted into exploding missiles and chests contain at minimum 3 items.

Capella Magna’s final boss can be defeated to unlock the Game Killer arcana.

You can also unlock Game Killer arcanas such as Out of Bounds(note 7), Silent Old Sanctuary(note 6), Disco of Gold (note 4) and Mad Grooves (note 4). All you have to do is type aintnobodygottimeforthat In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).

Note 10 (Mindbender)

Allows you to change the characters’ appearence in the character selection and limit the amount of weapons you can get in the run.

Mindbender can be obtained if you complete 100 entries.

You can also unlock this relic simply by typing Teleportustomars In the main menu or in secret menu (see Cheat Codes, Forbidden Scrolls of Mobane headings).
